I went a bit AWOL these last few day, and boy can you ever tell. My home needs a full top to toe.
To be fair, most surfaces just need tickling, but I can see a whole load of decluttering and organising is needed, and I've decided to do it....not all today, but definatley by the end of the year.
I've planned a full on attack of the 'public' rooms today coz OH is at work so I hopefully won't feel so lazy:rolleyes:. Though he has given me money to go into Hull should I complete some tasks he's set....ONE load of laundry and tidy the living room (which is the least messiest room, by a long way):D. Well laundry's in and living room will be tackled in a mo. Then I might head to town and do that while the trains will (hopefully) be quiet. Then when I get back....I'll work on my list.- Do pots
- Tidy kitchen
- Make cupcakes mmmmmmm
- Pick up floordrobe and sort out what is clean and what needs washing
- Do more laundry
- Take out bins and recycling
- Clear surfaces in bedroom
- Tidy floor are in second bedroom
- Clean bathroom
- Take down decs
- Have moment to self
- sort out what grooceries we need and purchase
- Ring sister coz haven't spoken to her since last year
- Remind OH to ring his mum
Okay...away I go!:j:j:j:j:j(needs these for energy)Now MARRIED!11/09/100 -

I mis-read what sortta DVDs you were watching for a moment and thought you were terribly liberal :D
I sobbed my way through last half hour of Dr Who and ended up with a thumping headache as a result, so you aren't alone
Up v early for me today and one of first thoughts (admittedly while I was trying to get back to sleep) was that I have more time for flying! Must be because it's new to meHowever, I no longer go round like a headless chook not knowing where to start. I am now focussed and feel more in control of things.
Still trying to learn what everyone is up to and trying to keep up.

Morning,
Very cold and frosty here this morning. Excellent for doing a poo patrol though!!:D:D
Really must sort this keyboard out today when I have located one of Miss Tag's paintbrushes. They're brill for keyboard sorting.
Also I must Ebay 10 things today in order to catch up with my own personal Ebay challenge.
House is still in reasonable shape so just pottering for me this weekend I think.:D
Off on a listy hunt................0 -

Discovered a nasty big massive patch of damp all over one wall upstairs roof to halfway down - don't know what to do about it??????
Have taken the wallpaper off to see if will dry but when I did this on another bit of this wall it didn't dry
Could be something as simple as blocked guttering. Can you see any green algae on the outer wall? Check guttering before a more expensive solution.Careful_with_that_Axe wrote: »greenbee What I do with "found" money iyswim is I split it in half and on ehalf is used for savings or essential things like a car repair and the other half is split in half again and one half of this (i.e. 1/4 of original exceess) is used on "things" and the other on experiences.
If you particularly like gardens etc, things could be plants normally too expensive to buy or a bird table and the experience part used for an outing to visit a gardens or sommat iyswim.
Does this seem really anal?
I like this, can I steal it?Fedupandskint - hugs about the damp..... if it was coming from below, I'd diagnose rising damp.
Don't believe there is any such thing, or at least, it is very very rare. Damp proofing is a scam, supported by mortgage companies and surveyors scared of litigation.
thifty hugs, love. Agree with pigpen on this one.
courgette loads of us chalks (or should that be interactive whiteboard pens) here, its because we work so flipping hard, we don't have time for housework! but don't get piggers onto the topic of holiday length! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

According to my latest "safeguarding" training, that would count as child abuse, so I'll stick with the ponies :rotfl:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
