Looking for the best place to buy bread flour .. anybody ?? I'm currently just getting it in 1kg bags from Sainsburys but I use an awful lot ..:D
I bought a box of 10 packs each of white and brown from Lakeland for ~£8 each. Bread turns out really yummy in Kenwood machine. Use in 70/30 mix and handful of seeds or olives and chillis. Tried chocolate bread as well - scrummy, but ginger was bit disappointing.A MAN is the head of the family, the WIFE is the neck. The neck turns the head exactly the way it wants.0 -
I am smiling, as I get my bread flour from Lidl too - what a coincidence.Hoping this year is better than the last.

Hi I used to live in Tewkesbury and the flour mill there used to let me buy sizeable bags as and when I needed them.
Do you have one nearby?

Hi
I have got a very big sack (25kg) in the past from our local wholefood co-op.
We had ample storage at the time, and were using it quickly, but possibly you could share with someone?0 -
I'm up in the hills Duck, not near anything. Might be wholefood co-ops in Edinburgh that I could try...off to ferret around
