Technika 32" LCD tv £199 at Tesco

Just looking at the NOTW advert and it says 'while sock lasts'..no mention of 1 day only
Can I take it with me to tesco tomorrow and will they have to honour it for me?

And if you had bought it and tried to get DtD then you would have had a proper fight on your hands and one that I doubt you would win, IMHO!

OH had just bought a 32" from JL for his mum so bought two and will send the JL back.

Take in a cutting of the newspaper advert and if they have them in stock and they charge you more than the £199 you will be entitled to DtD. If they do overcharge you, and refuse DtD, ask for the number to head office and give them a bell, if you get no joy im sure trading standards would be interested. Obviousley if they are there for you to buy they are still in stock. HTH

In the advert does it say in small print, "subject to availability" because if you go in a store and they are not available then they havent got to sell you one at that price, but, if you go in a stall and they have some then they must sell them for that price. HtH

i put one in my basket, got a delivery date, then went through payment and verification process for it to then come up as out of stock, is this normal when buying online? cheers for any advice.

i think that there are several of these about but slightly different models? this was the story my brother in law was fobbed off with in out local tesco

Massive problems regarding this in coventry yesterday. My OH was at the store for opening time to be told it's not on offer as it is a different TV to what is being advertised, it wasn't same Tv same spec. He got fed up with waiting in the end but said there was at least 15 people going mad as they had a pile of these TV's but refused to sell them at £199
