Oh b***s - it let me through to where you give the credit card and verify it - and then it told me they were out of stock.

Hi, this happened to me a few times too, getting my hopes up each time as it also gave me a delivery date, in the end I rang Tesco and was speaking to Customer Services who stated that this was happening as there was no more stock available.... I further questioned as to why it was going so far as to take my card details if this was the case and he said that he would try and order one for me but fortunately for me I managed to purchase mine on line whilst he was trying to order me one too...... I would ring and explain that it is letting you add one to your basket and enter your card details etc....... it seemed to work for me, and if you don't ask you don't get.

    Good luck

  • i bought this tv back in summer @ £299... pictures ok, little ghosty but nothing major. it has no off switch just standby. and the sound systems pants. like listening thru a tin can.... would gladly swap for a better model but at the end of the day, i had a £300 budget n that was the best available at that price...
does my bum look big in this sig?

Can we all just come to the conclusion that some like brands and some don't...We all have different budgets and expectations from things..each to their own and stop going on about how "my tv is better than yours"

But its blatently obvious that some people are buying these just so they can brag to the Jones' next door about their new "flat screen tele".

If you are on a tight budget, save yourself £150 and buy a second hand Sony CRT 32" which will poop all over this and most other LCD for DVD and Freeview.

Also the people who keep piping up and banging out about how this is "1080p" and other "branded" TVs near this price are not - that's kind of like buying a Kia over a VW just because the Kia has a nice stereo.

We have a 37'' technika. Only bought it cos it was in the sale just as ours went bang and its the only one we could afford at the time, now all our TV's are technika.

Havent had a single problem with any of them. We have sky+ HD and the picture is top notch, so much better than my dad's TV that he paid £1200 quid for.

Its great and we will defo be buying another technika to replace it as we want a bigger screen now we have a huge living room. And this one will go in one of the bedrooms.

Actually no, I have a brain of my own thanks, but pretty fed up with the constant knocking and trolling by some on here, including you!

Its 200 quid !!!!!! not 600 or 700. A 32 inch HD tele at under 200 quid is a bargain. Proof of the fact is Tesco can't keep up with demand for these things and even have a dedicated message on their helpline about it.

Do us all a favour and go troll somewhere else.

Its not a bargain when a £50 CRT will do the job better though for Freeview and DVD viewing.

The Vauxhall Corsa is one of the best selling cars in Britain, doesnt mean its any good.

Of course its good, 10's of thousands of people own them and find they suit their needs perfectly.

I'm sure the thousands who buy this tele for under 200 quid will be happy with their purchases too.

EDIT.....tesco.com now showing my useless, unfit for purpose waste of plastic and transistors is ready for collection! Wish me luck everyone as by the sounds of it, it might just burst into flames in the car on the way home!! :)

As I posted in the thread before, a branded HD Ready TV will blow this out of the water, especially with standard definition viewing.

Trust me, HD Ready and 1080p are very different beasts.

If you want to go ahead and spend £250-£300 on a TV which will only show 720p (or overscan 1080p) then be my guest.

If you put next to each other a blu-ray, one at 720p and one at 1080p, they will look very, very different.
The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.
