Technika 32" LCD tv £199 at Tesco

Been in the door 15 minutes and a delivery guy just brought my TV, towels and £1 jeans (which incidentally I don't like )
Heading over to my mum and dad's now to install their shiny new telly so they can enjoy the hogmanay programmes.
Pretty happy now. That's my internet shopping done for a few months, been spending waaaayyy too much money!!

Well as you know I went and collected mine.

Plugged it in to the sky box (non HD) witht he dvd scart plugged into the sky box. Watched a few programmes on TV and also watched a couple of DVD's.

Overall I was very impressed. Picture was bright enough (but i did boost it a little bit for my own taste) and clear enough too. Be nice to plug a bluray player into it to see how it looks.

One grump I guess is I thought the sound quality wasn't brilliant. If you are just watching TV or dvd's with the kids, its fine but if you like a powerful cine sound or watch a lot of music DVD's then I'd say it needs hooking up to a sound system of some kind.

Thing is 200 quid you should have money to spare for a surround sound system

Whhhoooo just got an email to say ours will be delivered tomorrow now and not Monday. Just need to find a wall bracket/arm now so my husband can put it up in our dining room this weekend

If you call your local store there's a pre recorded message about this TV saying that if you don't receive your TV by 31st jan then you won't be getting it (or words to that effect) don't know if that message is still up now

Went in today to pick ours up as per order and it wasn't there

She faffed about for a bit and then said it wasn't here and did we know if they had any on the shelves... yeah ok then! OH asked for the manager as he wasn't happy. She came down and to be fair she was very nice.

She said the lorry turned up but because no one came to empty it on time he drive straight off to his next drop still fully loaded

Anyway she said it will be in Monday but OH cant get there in the week and as Ive been "banned" from driving because Im to pregnant apparently :rotfl: She offered us free delivery. She said she will send a lad out in a van when they get the delivery in Monday.

Apparently the Tesco staff haven't got access to the customer details to ring us to tell us it wasn't gonna be there... that's useful!

Well mine should have been delivered yesterday but was not. Rang CS this morning to be advised that my order was never processed and that all they can do is re-order..... I explained that it is now discontinued and she just apologised and said that I will receive a full refund. Said that I am not happy about this and want the TV. She said that she will email the Courier company to see if they can shed any light on this. Told her not to ring me back to say I will be given a refund as if that is the case I want to speak to the Manager.

They have taken the money from my account.

I am fuming ! What can I do now ?

Now just received a text, from the Courier Company I presume, stating that I will receive my Tesco Direct Order on or before Mon 4th Jan, the original date I was advised, so I am now waiting a confirmation call from Tesco CS to this effect and it will then look like my order is back on track and should hopefully be delivered tomorrow, fingers crossed.
