The last couple of washing from the machine has smelt musty/not fresh - any ideas?

Do a 90 degree wash with a cup of vinegar & bicarbonate of soda.0

And give the seal a good scrub with a scourer soaked in vinegar first!Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0

Every fortnight or so I hijack my daugher-in-law's nappy bucket and give the terry nappies a 95 degree wash.
When I've got no nappies, I might try all the tea towels.0 -
I don't know how to solve the current problem, however when you get it fixed, leave the machine door open after you've taken the washing out so the insides can air dry. That stops it getting musty. Here I go again on my own....0

I always leave the door open, so it can't be that.
I will try the vinegar/bicarb wash 90 deg and scrub the seal - thanks!
PS Do I just put it in the drawer?0 -
Before I have run the washer on a 60 degree wash with nothing in but some soda crystals in the drawer.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
