Hi i am new and looking for some advice and encouragement:- what constituents a NSD?-İs it devoid of spending on anything or just extras?-when do you know you have gone too far??
A rather silly question-how do you post a new thread-the only place i can see that might permit it is under-user cp-but from there where do i go??
    look forward to your help-Gxx

Been a mixed bag so far this month! Have had 2 NSDs which I had down as SDs (including one sat which I was pretty impressed with! Was because I didn't play hockey I guess tho). But then this week I have now had 2 SDs which were supposed to be NSDs. Due to my poor little kitty being poorly and needing treatment from the vet.

So I'm still on track but not with the 'spares' I had at the beginning of the week!

Plus the money I'd put aside for the chimney in 12 hours changed to money for the new hob I now need coz we have a leak, to money for the vet! Grrr! I was doing so well, and then these coupld of spanners came flying into the works!

    Hey de1amo

This is BigMummaF's thread but am sure she would tell you that you can make your own rules. Some of us count EVERYTHING as a spend and others (like moi) count everything except bills (Mortgage, Utilities) also I don't count things I've saved up for like holidays/insurance. So it's up to you. I keep track of mine via my Spending Diary but not sure what others do.

So decide on your target and just aim for it!

But I would warn you BigMummaF is a terrible terrible tyrant that tells us all off when we err  I'm always getting into trouble :rotfl:

NSD No. 8 here today, 2 more to go ! Expecting a spend day tomorrow as I have a few groceries to buy but Friday should be number 9. Might be able to manage 1 NSD at the weekend so I'm really hoping to hit my target by Monday - fingers crossed ! :D

de1amo I class any spending as a 'spend' day (includes DDs, groceries, bills, petrol etc) and the days where I don't actually 'spend' money or have anything going out of my account are classed as NSDs. I think everyone has their own rules as to what they class as a spend - page 1 has lots of info on it ;).

Had another today (don't know if I've been in here or not) so that's 7 so far. Might get a few more in before the end of the month.
