I've no doubt that it will, since they don't make 'em like this any more, but that's irrelevant because I'm planning to be here a while. However, I have two kids who'll be wanting somewhere of their own. Far better that they are able to afford something themselves, rather than tapping me for a loan a few years hence.
As I said, real lives and situations are far more complex than simplistic 'bull' 'bear' arguments allow for.0 -
No, pickledpink - not everyone is as selfish as you appear to imagine, or as obsessed with the value of their home.
Your paranoia creeping back up again Carol? You're none too bright for a teacher! I happen to know BB and she is not PP. You need to get a life instead of living it out on MSE, otherwise people will start to think you're Generali! Just becasue we don't all post regularly doesn't mean we don't read you know. I'm sick of your swipes at all the members on here! Anyone who has more than you have (which is the majority) becomes your target for spilling your bile. You vicious nasty woman you! I'm glad my kids aren't being taught by an inept weirdo like you!
I only pop on here once in a while, but guaranteed both YOU AND GENERALI are tap tap tapping away!! You must narf have flat a$ses! You both seem to live your lives on here. It's not normal, and it's twisting your thinking.
BB is a very good friend of mine (if you knew who she really was you'd be very embarrassed - I can tell you!) so before you start spouting rubbish, I suggest you wind your turkey neck in and keep quiet. The more you spout, the more nutty you sound.
Out of interest, does your DH ever talk to you? Seems not!0 -

It's official - property prices have increased this year, and are set to continue rising...............
The end of year report in the Daily Telegraph shows how and why property has risen this year.
The report also states that in just 2 years from now, property values will be 15% higher than they are today. Read on...............

Those procrastinators have missed the boat again. That's what happens when you listen to doommongers!
You should be careful what you post, BB. Some people can't handle the truth, and you'll ruin their Christmas time. They hate anyone who owns a house cos they're eaten up with jealousy at the fact they're losers and failures. Big losers.0 -
Some sock puppets are more obvious than others.
The reason you don't like PP, Generali, is becasue she can see through you - and she's wealthy too!
You'll never amount to anything by spending all your time stuck on MSE. Can't you make a life for yourself in Australia? Haven't you got any mates or anything? You seem very lonely.0 -

It didn't.
It is just a waste of time having to read the same thing in two threads simply because the OP does not have the intelligence to realise it has been posted by someone else."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "0 -

Surely you don't read each and every thread on here?!!!! But if YOU were more intelligent you wouldn't even open the thread - knowing its contents! And you certainly wouldn't have to read through it all - or maybe you're just slow on the uptake. No-one's OBLIGED to read every post or thread on here you know!:rotfl:Not even Martin himself reads all these threads! So why YOU feel the need to remains a mystery!
But how dare you say BB is not intelligent! Shame on you! I dare say she's worth a lot more than you are, are she's also a very bright woman. Who are you to look down his nose at someone because they aren't obsessed with reading Matin's site! You may have lots of time on your hands, or be a bit of an anorak, but not everyone is you know!
You should apologise for being a prig.0 -

Greetings fellow sockpuppet.
P.S. It's great to be back0 -
please can we have a more reliable forecastor.
For all the people saying we have missed the boat you will look increasingly more stupid as months go by. No one has missed the boat at all, so stop trying to scare people.
Enough of these simpleton vested interest arguments and distorretions.
The facts are the economy is built on vast sums of debt which has triggered assest bubbles which are set to collapse. Interest rates are going to go up, unemployment is rissing, taxes are on the up, wages are being cut or frozen. There is no way prices will go up.
Now even the central london property is likely to plumet if the euro crashes as spain, greece, \and eastern euro go bankrupt.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

No.
I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to show them a world without you, a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries, a world where anything is possible. A world without sockpuppets. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.0 -
