  • i have a box, on a shelf in the wardrobe
when presents appear, they go on there, when the box is full, it then goes into another box, up the loft and i start the one in the bedroom again

i was fed up finding things in january that were supposed to have been given the previous christmas

    Hi all
Finally back online as I have a new computer and am so excited about Christmas I just had to join this thread!
Am very organised so far - made a Christmas folder and have it divided up into sctions (present lists, reciepes, menu's etc)
Am currently updating my list of all the bits I've bought and allocating them to people.
Did so well in the Boots 75% sale and the superdrug sale (also got some nice bits from lakeland sale).
Slight problem is that I'm fast running out of room in my cupboard and under my bed - oops!!
I've also started to make my christmas and easter cards!
    How's everyone else doing??
:j Bought all my presents for this year (birthday and Christmas) now starting on next years!!:j

OMG... !!!! is that all.....?!!! And I haven't got all my Christmas cards made yet .... only 10 of them so far!!!

Seriously..... my family think I'm mad planning for Christmas before the decorations have been taken down on 12th night, but I've been doing it for years and years now so they should know what I'm like. Only thing is, and I wonder this about everyone else who buy presents in the Jan sales: how do you know what people will want next Christmas? I've always said that they'll get what they're given, I've never taken any notice of 'Christmas lists'.

For Christmas 2010 though I have planned to give everyone at least one hand-made thing, and to cut down on presents. I say this every year and end up spoiling everyone, but I'm determined this year to do it. I have warned them all that it's going to be a hand-made Christmas, so I've only got 11 months to get everything made and find out their reactions!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I use the spradsheet that is avilable on here that was made by another poster.
I put who it is for, where I bought it, and how much originally and price I bought it for and saving I got, and also where I have hidden it.... Nice to see what originall cost would of have been and actually cost due to hunting around early in the year..

When I buy presents early in the year I buy a suitable present for everybody on my list and if later on in the year I can add a gift I know they have asked for I will if not I have a present for them incase anything crops up nov/dec wise and I cant afford to buy anything else..
