Youre doing great loupoppins!
I am not so organised but can join this thread now. I bought 2 packs of Christmas cards from Age Concern for 50p each and ordered 2 digital coin counting money jars mentioned on the grabbit forum, were £15 reduced to £5.04 on Amazon with free delivery. Will give those to my kids maybe for their birthdays, we shall see. Thats my first bits for 2010.
Its my Mums birthday at the end of Feb so need to sort something out for her and as usual have no idea what to get. She does collect glass paper weights so will have a look round for one as part of her present.
I started a standing order to start saving for Christmas, which has just gone into the saving account, thats a back up as I will need to leave my kids presents till a bit nearer the time when I find out what they want.
Just hope I can keep this up throughout the year!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
I have a lots of idea's for gifts but just need to get my finger out and start making them lol.
Some stuff stashed away for xmas but mostly for my 4yr old GDas she is so easy to buy for. I picked up a fab pink car for her Barbie's out of a charity shop for £2.49 the other day, it has working lights, mobile phone and radio that plays music, I was well please and so will she be.
I have got £400 love to shop vouchers + £80 Amazon vouchers being paid for wkly through Park hampers so Im speading cost of xmas, I had £200 vouchers last yr.
My 2 eldest son's will get the Amazon vouchers as they are a nightmare to buy forGetting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

I'm so on it, I'm nearly embarrassed. All in the sales. All at least 50% off. Complete with spreadsheet showing events for 2010 with names and description of gift. 38 out of 44 (6 children and partners, 7 grandchildren, parents, friends, Valentines, Mother's Day, etc)
I've been so inspired since I've joined MSE, I'm micromanaging every penny and opportunity!! I wished I'd had this support when I was in debt and mega skint!0 -
I've just requested a £10 Amazon voucher from Valued Opinions and was expecting 500 points from Lightspeed, checked today and there was 1500 plus what I already had in there, so requested a £15 Amazon voucher from them. I am going to save these up to use for Birthdays and Christmas but hoping to get the bargains to make the money go further.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I managed to pick up some goody bags from Claire's accessories. 10 sale items for £3.00. It was quite good as there was only 2 rubbish items in it but got earings, hair bands and jewellery. They will be great in my nieces hampers.0
