One of the tops youngest bought yesterday is the same as one bought by my eldest in September (only smaller obviously) and the price has certainly more than halved since eldest bought it.
Youngest has been after it ever since eldest bought it and would look longingly at it every week in the shop....but then we are weird and maybe others didn't like it so much meaning it was end of stock or not a huge seller.
Much smaller size could be why...genuine bargain. It's always super sale bargain time for XS and XL within mainstream retailers...the exception being shoes as size 8's are as rare as hens teeth in the sales.0 -
Thought it was well known that Next ship in loads of their normally unsellable tat to put on the rails for the 'sales'...
Meanwhile decent brands already had 50% off in Debenhams, during the run up Xmas.
Nothing much changes, certainly not the gullibility of the great british public.Act in haste, repent at leisure.

Boxing day is for spending time with family and friends and relaxing. Why people voluntarily return to crowded shopping centres to buy stuff they dont really need is beyond me. This consumerist society we have become just sickens me. Seems like there is now only one day of Christmas.
Weren't you arguing the other day that high house prices are preventing people from having more disposable income to spend in the wider economy? And yet today this spending sickens you?
Which is it?0 -

That's true.
Not going to another Next sale after the last one I went to - full of utter junk.0 -
