I got one of the £5 No7 vouchers in Boots a few weeks ago (was buying lunch and essential toiletries! Honest!) and it's been sitting on my desk, tempting me. I really love Ruby & Millie cheek stains but I have a really good blusher and prefer PosieTint as a stain anyway. So I sent an email round the office asking if anyone wanted it, for free, and gave it away to the first replier. Feels good!

Also, for those of you who have lots perfumes nearly done with - you could sell the bottles on eBay. Pretty, sculpted glass bottles can fetch a couple of quid and some are really popular and sell for more. I did this a few months back and made about £20 selling 5 bottles. The best seller was Vera Wang's Princess as it's a really cute heart shaped bottle with a detailed crown lid. :)
  • I almost got the S&G skin care set from Boots today, as it came back in stock online...Not that I've tried it, so don't know what its like.. Anyone used the S&G skincare range? I use the No7 p&p and have plenty so decided against it...proud of myself...but did wonder if any of you ladies had tried it...
Also sold a couple of things on Ebay, every little helps, as they say...
keep up the good work everyone :T

i used up a face scrub! nothing to write home about as it was a 4ml sample :D it was lovely though. chanel *sigh*

I also opened a new body scrub!!! i now officially have "none in stock" so will be keeping an eye out for St Tropez exfoliator on offer/ebay. it is by far the best ive ever had.

The one I broke into tonight was S&G, felt really virtuous knowing it was my only one :D

i also body buttered (found half a pot when tidying the makeup). i feel greasy. it isnt pleasant.

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

  • i found myself in boots today somehow with my finger pressing print at the acm machine for a free sample of estee lauder foundation - 10 days worth.

so obviously i collected it. spent nothing in there *smug* but still left with something :D

What better way to show remorse for all the beauty products you've bought than booking to go to Champney's.... GODAMN YOU GRABBIT BOARD!
  • I went into Boots yestarday, and managed to come out empty handed....yay me... (Probably first time in LONG time...)
Although maybe it helped coz I was helping my mother-in-law spend her money on stuff!

I just saw the Grabbit thread about the Lush £12.50 bags, is it wrong that I really want one as it has so much skincare stuff in it and not just a load of crappy bath bombs?

    The Grabbit board is EVIL!
