Well I have resisted all the sales emails from Boots, HQHair, Look Fantastic etc and have not bought anything since 28th December. :D The snow has also helped me to completely avoid my local Boots store.

I used up a sample bottle of VO5 shampoo yesterday that was probably as old as Miley Cyrus 8g7ratl.gifand have almost finished two tubes of hand cream which I was sent to test about two years ago. I also decided to throw out my old moisturising gloves and finally start using the new pair I've had in reserve for ages. Slow going, but it's a start..........2n0ucl4_th.gif

Tonight I will be using a face mask and pampering my feet using some of my vast range of lotions and potions. I might also ask my friend to help me dye my hair with a temporary colour this weekend.

I hope everyone else is doing OK. :o
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
  • Well im still going using things every day and fizzy trinket your haircare routine sounds very simillar to mine at the moment lol

    Mine goes
Shampoo, hair growth treatment, conditioner, blow dry using hair protector mist, serum on ends plus shine spray if out and overnight tretment at night:o:rotfl:. But.... i did catch a look at my hair in the mirror this morning and have to say , i was well impressed at how healthy , silky and shiny it looked.

Also cant remember who said it but the op saying families do actually need some stuff ie shampoo, toothpaste etc in stock, i totally agree. As i have been caught out before when i was ill and then bad weather etc and ended up using washing up liquid as hand wash eek, very drying.

Anyhow good luck today folks and stay safe if youve got icy roads where you are. I fell over yesterday, was ok, but was quite funny my legs just seemed to have a mind of their own so got a sore back so be careful.

    Nab

    xx

    Still bought nothing :j

Realised my 18 bottles of moisturiser may have built up because I hate the feeling of grease on my hands... so used my fake tan mitt to moisturise and it felt GOOD! So am confident I will get it down to 1 eventually

I've been thinking about getting a pair of cotton gloves myself. :) If you can't get them in your pound shop, Boots do a pair for £2.49:

Available in medium or large. Or if you get one of those Boots £5-off No.7 vouchers (available from Saturday onwards - spend £5 on mobile credit if you don't want to buy toiletries ;) ), you could try your luck at getting some No.7 cotton gloves:

With the voucher they work out at £1. The vouchers usually say you can't use them on accessories but some people on the Boots grabbit threads seem to use them successfully so it's up to you if you want to have a go.

I've bought some from Bodycare in the past - I think they were a pound or less. Pretty good, but I had to throw mine away after I got red nailvarnish on them and they looked like part of a halloween outfit. :rotfl:

What better way to show remorse for all the beauty products you've bought than booking to go to Champney's.... GODAMN YOU GRABBIT BOARD!
Oooh didn't spot that, do'ya have a link?

Today used up M&S body butter (sorry but was like using margarine) and an M&S perfume (kinda handbag size). So not bad. was very generous with the body butter to use it up. my skin must be dry as it kept absorbing it. tops of my arms are looking better with all these creams though! I'm still creating a master list of preferred products, then when I do need stuff hopefully this will keep me on the straight and narrow. :A
