Aww, don't say that, I have a whole (unopened) tub of it to use at some point (Xmas prezzie). :undecided0 -
HS, it was one I bought in their summer sale, like an after sun one. Yours may be better... sorry HS!

Welcome CompletelyLost, you'll enjoy this thread. I'm bad at lipglosses too. Start one, then another. Crikey, no sense! Am now better with mascara as you can get so many probs with eye products that have gone off. Best of luck!

OK, your honour
Usually I only actually buy 4.
But OH told me to get 2 of all essentials (washing detergent, soap etc) as come the next time we will need it he will be so skint he wont be able to afford it (we've just bought a new car)
Very poor defence I knowand I'[m most humbly sorry - I will recieve my punishment with good grace!
I think, given the circumstances, the jury are all in agreement that buying eight was the best option. We will let you off with a suspended community service sentence. Next time, we won't be so light, we will issue you with a 12 hour shift in Boots on their 75% sale day and take away your credit card. The judge feels that would be worse than a short stint in prison.
:rotfl::D
Got slightly carried away then! I know what you mean, I stock up when I see good offers and when I can afford it. It makes sense

I've still not bought anything else, and I've finished the tin of bath bath bombs I got for Xmas so refilled it with the ones I got in the goody bags dh got when he bought me Think Pink for my birthday. I'm also now half way down a tub of Karma Cream.
I started going through the bathroom drawers stash of stuff to see what I can use up and had to throw away a jar of body cream (freebie from Boots from longer ago than I care to admit) as it had gone off - I'd obviously opened it at some time for a snuff and now it smells a bit funny. On the other hand, it might have been meant to smell like that and that's why I never used it!
I've also had to throw out some small travel sized face creams which had also gone off/changed consistency and an organic lip balm which was past its use by time and did taste a bit odd.
I've found stuff I'd completely forgotten I even had, like some temp hair dyes in various shades of purple and red that I bought for 10p in Boots at some point. I have no idea why I thought I would ever use these! :rotfl:0 -

Lol, no problem. Mine's the coconut one so fingers crossed!Just finished Rosehip & Vitamin E. It's lovely and smells gorgeous. Got loads more-fave is Honey and Milk.
Ooo, thanks for recommendations. I stopped myself from buying a tub (or three or four...) for weeks before Xmas (particularly difficult when they were half price  ) so I was secretly chuffed to get one randomly for Xmas. I may have to put that Honey and Milk one on my wishlist. Must... not... buy... (yet).0 -
Went into Boots today and was tempted by mini bourgois eyeliners but stayed away. I heard a woman saying to her friend 'i've made a saving of £35 today' while looking at her receipt. Left me thinking 'How much did she spend?' - maybe she should join this threadMFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

washing my hair entails using: hair moistureiser, shampoo, colour booster, conditioner, mousse, serum.each time
handcare: serum, handcream, moistureising gloves - nail varnish and remover and cotton wool pads.
feet:put s&g foot balm on then socks. this has made my feet feel and look great.
bath/shower: gels,oils,exfoliators,bath skin cream,moistureiser - every time.
it is a bit of a performance but stuff is getting used up and my skin and hair look much better for it. i am going to keep it up
ooh lovely, I'm going to make more effort to do all of the above too. I need something to cheer me up. I hate the winter and all this pampering should make me feel a lot better. I have to say I weakened today in spacenk. They had some Terry make up and skincare on special offer. But I remembered this thread and I just bought a lovely sun kiss cream blush. It was half price and it is lovely. So I know I''ve broken my resolution for about the 10th time which is rubbish, as it's only the 8th day of the new year. But before this thread I would have bought the lot and run up my cc even more. So that is progress of a sort for me.0
