Well I have just finished up a fantastic body cream that I had bought ages ago from Waitrose. It was on special offer at the time . I had gone in looking for the famous baby bottom balm. As that was out of stock I bought this
For Mummy stretch mark cream with rooibos, frankincense and rosehip.
(Don't have stretch marks and my youngest baby is nearly 9, but what can I say? It was on special offer)
It's really fantastic stuff, lovely, heavy cream but sinks in almost immediately and leaves skin really smooth and moisturised with a lovely light scent.
So I'm quite sad now because I can't buy that again for at least the next 3 years, which is approx when my stash of body creams will start running low.........0 -

HELP.......................................
I missed out on the S&G hat box and am sooooooo tempted to buy one on Ebay, but keep reminding myself about this challenge.. Apart from having a cupboard full of smellies anyway, I hate the fact of paying somone £40 plus when it only cost £20...grrr... I'm just a sore loser!!
But I really want one...Please stop me from buying it....:hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

do you write for a living?
Oh, yay! I like being a bad influence!Hope you're enjoying it.
Yes, I'm a copywriter by trade (advertising) and do this to satisfy my fashion craving. It's so much fun!
Anyway - get back to your marking! Tsk.0 -

Are you climbing back on the wagon now?
Thank you so much.
Yes, totally back on the wagon. I actually felt a bit guilty after buying them - one would have been within the rules as we are out of handwash but three!!
I could have even done without buying even the one and just carried on decanting shower gel into the existing dispenser that I've had for 4 years :rotfl: but the pump is knackered so it was justified.
As for the other two - I needed something to go with my S&G bits for gifts! I also ooohed and ahhhed over all the 50% off sale stuff and then dragged myself away from the shelves!!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I wound down my tolitries a couple of years ago and used everything up. Just a thought but, with all those toiltries being used do you think perhaps a sort of 'product review' would be helpful??!! So for example your using a body moistriser up but you feel the one you were using before was better, a sort of name and shame thing!! I know for me personally i would love that ifo before i buy. Very MSE and helping others too.
Just to add, the product review is not meant to encourage buying, just to give a bit of info iyswim!!
Great idea - I will have to refrain from buying based on reviews though, maybe I will make a little list for when I am able to buy again! That's weird - Dove makes me feel like I can't breathe! The deodorant, I can understand, but even the shampoo and conditioner does it. I can't use it
Same here, I hate Dove shampoos and conditioners, urgh!!!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Good - thank goodness they saw sense with that rule - made absolutely no sense to me at all !!!!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
OK, I have just done a quick stocktake of my stash as I was trying to sort it into 'opened' and 'unopened', and it is totally scary!!!!!!!!!!! I am horrified.
So I have resolved to use a face mask at least every 2 days (rotating between moisturising and clarifying types), use hand, elbow and foot creams as often as poss and use body lotion EVERY DAY without fail. Tonight I used my BS honey body butter, it was so luxurious!!! I had to wait 20 mins before getting dressed but it was so worth it. I also used my BS aloe vera soothing face mask, it is lush. It really is just a matter of taking the time to use stuff isn't it?
I also stored all my bathroom smellies in my S&G hatbox (to be used up) and have now displayed all my S&G goodies in the bathroom, it looks great!!! I have started on them (bad me) but will keep using up my existing stuff till it's gone. I just wanted my bathroom to look nice.
