What i found when i wound my toiltries down was that i adore dove products (deodrants, body moistriser soap) but i HATE S&G, sorry i know some of you love it but i find the smells really overpowering and headache inducing!!

Just to add, the product review is not meant to encourage buying, just to give a bit of info iyswim!!

What a GREAT idea, Sharron! When I was compiling my list I realised how many Tresemme products I have - but I hate Tresemme! I'd love to do some reviews as I work through my stash.

Friend of mine used to work in the IT bit of lush, and they didnt get any discount at all, nor were they allowed to buy/take anything that wasnt up to scratch to go out to the shops (though this was when cosmetics to go stopped and lush first started up) hope thats changed by now!

Yes, I think it would be great to do some reviews. Trouble is, as soon as someone recommends something I want to rush right out and buy it to try for myself.

I work in a shop and yes we do get discount - the reasoning being that ,that way we use the stuff and have confidence in what we sell and reccomend to people .

Thanks ever so much Sharron! I am having such a blast writing it.

Talking of blogs - there are lots and lots of beauty review blogs around. If any of you fancy a beauty boost or want to know about a product without testing it for yourself (and therefore not having to buy it!), have a search around for the beauty blogs. I blog on blogspot and follow lots of them.

Similarly (although slightly OT), if you're a fashion addict like me there are TONS of fashion blogs to draw inspiration from.

Product reviews sound like a a great idea. I actually have quite a few S&G product reviews over on my youtube channel : littlepinkstars44. I'm thinking of starting them up again. This might give me the motivation to do so!

That's weird - Dove makes me feel like I can't breathe! The deodorant, I can understand, but even the shampoo and conditioner does it. I can't use it

Love the idea about the product review, though knowing me it'll make me want to buy :rotfl:

Guys, I have a using-products related question: I just opened the box to a jar of eye-cream that someone gave me, and on the base of the jar it says 'LCT 1996'. Is this some sort of code or a best before date? It's not the name of the company or anything, and has been stamped on like BBDs often are.
