  • Seems as though most of us have had another good day today - and those that haven't (Benefit shower gel buyers!!) are at least trying to make it money neutral. Dinner was chicken & bacon lasagne which was quite nice. Rabbit stew tomorrow though - yummy!

I reckon I will most likely kill my current can of deodorant tomorrow morning, or Friday at the latest. I'll go on to the roll-on I have in the cupboard after that. My friend is coming to stay in a fortnight and she wants to go to the Boots clearance store but I figure if I'm :A 'ic until then and only spend cash from my weeks money I can let myself buy a few bits at that stage. I am going to sort out some mini perfumes to offer her as well as I have a stupid number.

I reckon work wonder what's going on as I've worn eyeshadow every day this week - mind you it's an all male office other than me so they probably haven't noticed! :rotfl:

*special note* Salesaddict you're doing so well - keep going! xx

"I HAVE FALLEN OFF THE WAGON"

Went to Tesco's today as DD wanted the Garnier roll eye cream and it was the cheapest place to buy, I had a voucher for £1.50 off so only cost £3.50.

While I was there I mooched on the clearance aisle :o and bought the following items

3 x Bnatural handwashes £1.00 each (which were needed for the toilets & kitchen sink)

3 x Bnatural cleansers £1.00 each (I do use this cheaper than Liz Earle)

2 x Bnatural face oil £1.00 each (love oils for my face, neck & bust area)

3 x King of shaves face washes £1.00 each (hubby did need)

To be fair I have sold loads on Ebay this last 2 weeks and made £172.32, so I have offset this agaisnt my spend.

I was very tempted to get a couple of very cheap conditioners in Sainsbury's tonight on the way home from the gym. Their coconut conditioner was good for the conditioner-only washing, and I would like to try their tea tree one and the apple one too. They're all half price at the moment, so silly prices.

I put it off, thinking that the offer will stay on for a while. Then I've counted some of my conditioners tonight. I have at least 8 unopened normal conditioners (i.e. herbal essences and similar), as well as several uncounted unopened posher ones like John Frieda.

Think I won't need to buy conditioner for ages, even getting through it really quickly!

Am rather pleased now that I didn't buy the ones in Sainsbury's!

(Have to admit a slip-up of buying ONE of their basics toothpaste last time I was in there though... bf's dental nurse told him it was really good, so I'm going to alternate it with my normal one).
  • Well another nite cream gone and a bottle of Avon's body lotion finished off too..
This challenge is most satisfying...and my skin is lurving it....

Must keep away from the 3rd off S&G stuff tho... Naughty Boots...
    :hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

Another one of Donna Summer's 'Bad Girls' :naughty::naughty::naughty: (:shhh: I like Bnatural: never seen the facial oil. What a bargain:shhh:)
Hoping that Tesco Canary Wharf does not stock Bnatural products. I'll have to keep telling myself: NO!!!!!!!!!!!NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to M&S today and deliberately avoided the toiletries on the first floor:j:jNext, Sainsbury. I made sure that I did not pass the Champneys aisle:eek::eek:. Far too tempting.:j:j

Started sorting my stash into dinky child suitcases I bought from the Holding company. I'm not sure they can take the strain.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

Is the Aveda Shampure any good for greasy hair? I've never bought it before because it's quite expensive, but I have tried practically every shampoo under the sun in my quest to find something that actually works. Needless to say I'm still searching......... :undecided

You know, I don't think Aveda do a shampoo specifically for greasy hair. The Shampure is suitable for all hair though, and it's gentle enough for frequent use. I have to wash my hair every day, and it still looks clean at the end of the day with the Aveda. I think they do travel sizes - yes, just checked and they do a 50ml Shampure for £3.75 (sorry, I shouldn't be encouraging you to lapse here!!) but a little does go a long way.

Btw, heads up for anyone who needs to buy deodorant, Sure is BOGOF at Tesco, including the mineral ones, as opposed to 2 for £4 at Boots.
