I don't imagine anything is wrong with it, only it is maybe not as good as others around eg Hitachi is not really a market leading make, its not 1080p, and it has no freeview, if those things bother youthis comment is currently under construction

it has no speakers and only 1 HDMI
so depends on your set up
i have a separate speaker set up so could use it0 -
I'm looking for a 37 inch 1080p with freeview for my Dad to replace his old juggernaut. Would RS have the best deals? Any recommendations that have some wow factor but under £500?
Cheers,

which ones have you looked at on their site?0

Terrible refresh rating. 50hz. No wonder it's cheap. Look for 100hz.
But yes, it is a good deal for what it is.0 -
The SONY BRAVIA KDL37S5500 looks like a good deal but some people say Bravias are no good.
I've seen that graph which shows at what size and viewing distance Full Heady becomes important so I guess it doesn't need to be 1080p.0 -
I have recently purchased the LG 42LH3000 in the sale for £400 - was this a good buy? and is the TV any good.Comping from May 2012

Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help
