Did you guys know you can sell directly from a facebook fan page now?

I've just put a fan page together (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Crafty-JuJu-Designs/116211508405032?ref=ts) with all my things on with links to my shop...is that what you mean or is there another way I don't know about?? :D

If we can sell from that page that would be great :T

ooh if you can sell from the facebook fanpage I'd love to know if anyones managed to do it? I set up my fanpage at the weekend (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Handmade-by-Gem/109917232382552?ref=sgm) and am currently working on getting my website up to scratch

I'm slowly working through the payment thingy for using facebook and fan pages, so far I think I have it on, but now need to add items to my 'storefront' I can only actually see it as admin, so don't know what it looks like http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jos-Beaded-Designs/62184105944?ref=s

I think the storefront thing goes into a tab at the top, I was just messing about with it the other night, I think I have it linked to my paypal, but to be honest, my mind just wasn't on it, so it came to a halt for now.

But the fan page links to the website, and people can buy from there lol

My website is a Mr Site, the website in a box, I started with the standard, and upgraded to Pro this year, I am not sure what my hosting costs are, with having just changed, but with the standard version, it's between £25 and £40 depending on where you buy the package from, and it's just under £40 after the first year for each years hosting.

It has shopping cart facilities and such like, and is really really easy to use

The bead shop in Afflecks isn't that expensive to be honest, I went there for ermergency supplies of wire while at a craft fair in the Northern Quarter, and found the prices to be ok.

Re parking, over in that area, near Swann Street,(?) is a car park on a bit of waste land, run by a really nice chap, it's only £2.50 for the day, we usually park there and you are only a couple of mind walk from the Arndale, and are in the right part of town for Afflecks

Oh craft fair in Northern Quarter sounds intruiging! How do you find out about them?

I think I will head to afflecks then. Infact I think I probably need to make a trip to town anyway before summer (Primark!) so will try combine it all. Its not neccessrily finding parking that bothers me its paying for it! I really begrudge paying for parking.... Hence why Im a Trafford Cnetre girl! But that car park you mention is cheaper than the one I usually use so I might give it a go! I think I know where you mean too. I suppose I could always head over on a sunday and park at MEN for a pound, abit of a walk but in this weather its hardly taxing!

Thank you for your help :D

Crafty JuJu and Yukkibear: Thank you for the welcome :D

KandiPandi: I have read through this whole thread and put most of the websites on my favourites! hehe So I have them all stored up to use when I have money. I just wanted to try and find a local shop as I love browsing and looking at things. Also always handy to know incase you have a bead emergency! haha

AmyGroovy 3: Oh I will google that and check it out thank you. I dont mind having a drive, especially in this weather it doesnt feel like a chore!

Sorry I should have explained more about it before disappearing off. It's the link that Jo supplied - payvment. I have foud it easy enough to install and use, just had to have my pics at 400px times 400px for them to show.

Apart from that I have started selling direct from my own website (link is in my profile) and I have used create as my hosts and found it really easy to set up too.
