    they are polymer clay pendants
  • yukki I do think its fab that you have created something unique to you. Well done! Hope you get some sales on Folksy with them. What is great is that people have the choice of what they can string them on to as your pendants would look fab with ribbon, cord, leather thong or chain.

Only thing is they only do one size, making your own means you can adjust the sizes to order.

I've strung one of them onto some cord to see how it would look and put it in my Folksy shop. I've also created a twisted one by accident, but I like the way it turned out so I think that'll be headed for the folksy shop tomorrow.

Thanks poppy. I don't like the green one very much (not my colour), but just goes to show that everyone has different tastes and that's why I shouldn't just make what I like.

    How's your Folksy shop going?
  • I`ve made one sale! Yeahy! Ive also been reading the "talking" section on Folksy for tips etc. Its a slow moving site that needs promotion as really only the crafty people are aware of it.
I`m just enjoying making things to list if I sell its a total bonus. At the same time I`ll have lots of stock ready for jewellery parties and fairs in the Summer. I don`t have a facebook or twitter so advertise on my blog only - Ive just figured out how to put a button on my blog woo hoo!

How are you finding it yukki?

I have made one sale too, but like you say getting out there and promoting it. I saw the lady who bought your bracelet as she put a pic on her blog and mentioned your name. That post was then linked into the forum on folksy so I expect you'll get loads of viewings from that.

I'm enjoying it but would like to sell to buy more materials and also to be able to put something on the tax return next year rather than just expenses lol.
