I did buy the dolly mixture beads - I got a bag of 'second' ones, I thought it would be be good to see how their made so I can try and replicate them - not had much joy yet. I seem to have mastered doughnuts and marshmellow flumps, that's all so far.

Any tips for stopping getting sticky with fimo - not sure if its the heat of my hands or the general hot weather ?

thankyou, just had a look on ebay and wow i feel hungrey. seen love hearts, dolly mixtures, chocolate, swiss rolls, apple slices, cup cakes, flumps, allsorts, cookies , doughnuts and toast just to name a few. i am planning on making my daugther some hairslides like i used to and think sweets on it would make a stunning hair slide for my princess. but i'm not gonna attempt to make any of them for a while got too many other things i'm making, lol.

Try popping it in the fridge for a bit, use a cold tile to work on and a very very sharp blade to slice through. Fimo classic is much firmer and keeps it's shape better than fimo soft.

won lots of bead stuff on ebay this weekend for really cheap! so now can't wait to get started, a memory wire bracelet is going to be my first item.

Just looking at memory wire on ebay and the diameter of the rings are tiny - is this right?!

Roughly how many beads will you need for this?

Sorry not been around much over the weekend :) It was Alex's 6th birthday last thurs so its been a busy weekend. My mum paid for a Brewsters party for him & his friends on the saturday & yesterday I did a Star Wars themed party for him at home for family so not much time for any crafting!
I've just blogged pictures of the star wars party if you'd like a nosey :D

I was kind of hoping it would be me as I thought of something the other day. This weeks challenge is

"Think of someone who deserves a present and make them something they'll love. You don't have to actually give it to them, but it has to have a meaning" Tell us who it's for and why.

I hope that's ok with everyone.

    Great challange :)

Carolan0_0 - Gorgeous makes, I love the dolly mixture :D

I'm going to try & finish the donut charm bracelet today, I've just varnished them all so fingers crossed I can find some time to fix them onto a chain :)

Hope you all have had a great weekend :) x
