I was kind of hoping it would be me as I thought of something the other day. This weeks challenge is

"Think of someone who deserves a present and make them something they'll love. You don't have to actually give it to them, but it has to have a meaning" Tell us who it's for and why.

I hope that's ok with everyone.

anyone any advice on memory wire bracelets?

Is memory wire the same as tiger tail and beadalon?

What beads are best to use?

memory wire comes in coils and you can pull it out straight and it will go back into that coil shape, you can cut it to length. if you have a look at our challenge bracelets over the last few pages, thats mem wire, ill try and find some on ebay as an example.

To my knowledge Beadalon is more stringing wire. Im not sure about Tigertail but I thought it was similar to the Beadalon

    memory wire -

you can add any kind of beads you like to mem wire. This isnt the best pic of it, but as i said before you can stretch the coil straight and it will go back into a coil shape. hth

Its ok :D I was worried it might happen so was going to post a message saying I was going to upload one late tonight then noticed it has already finished hehe. I will still upoad it but as there is no rush now I will wait till I can get a better picture of it :D

I was thinking, do we need some basic rules for the comp? Obviously the make must fit the theme. But I was wondering, does it have to be something we make during the challenge week or can we use a previous make? And do we have a 'winner'? (Im abit like Monica hahaha). Was thinking that maybe the person who set the challenge could just choose a 'winner' for a particular reason (interpret of theme, materials used, skills etc).
