I'e just sat outside (in the shade) making donuts for the last hour, I'm loving it so much & I've only just started! The kiddies were watching me all the time wanting a go
Its alex's 6th birthday tomo & I have got them both a plastacine kit each so after today I think they'll like it
I'll post some pics later today or tomo on my blog of the donuts
....sos another question/bit of adivce plz...I'm making them for charms...should I put the pin in & bake with it in or do I make the hole with the pin & take the pin out while it bakes? Hope that makes sense! lol
I love your braceletI have the paris charms too, I only have 1 left
I got them from the NEC, might have to get some more.
For next weeks challange how about you pick & name out of a hat (everyone that has entered) & that person sets the challange for the following week?x
If everyones happy for me to do that ill do it on Friday when everyones posted. Ill pop through them all and put them in a hat.
I always put the wire/headpin in before cooking and leave them in. For the donuts i push the pin in before adding the icing. i then just put on a round flat piece of clay and use a wooden skewer to make the middle again.
The same for the cupcakes. i make the cake bit, push the headpin in then add the icing.
Fimo/Sculpey is fab because it is cooked at such a low temp you can add loads of things to it. You can use tiny jewels and seed beads etc. Nothing warps or melts.
My kids love watching me too. I usually get their play doh out at the same time. ive made loads of plates of food and a fruit bowl for her dolls house too.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
yukki - lovely stuff :T-was really taken with the key ring so much so I rummaged in my bowl of little pebbles and found 3 with holes in..........thinking if I thread some beads as well it should work. I'll give it a go anyway.
nic - love the bracelet:T

Pictures of my "Love" bracelet, I chose red/purpley shades as I felt they represented passionate love. The charms I have added are two hearts, a "trust" tag as well as a rose charm and chocolate charm, because they seem to symbolise the romantic -(yeah I know it's a bit corny
