Happy birthday

Bringing stuff out and just looking at it? wow, I thought everyone did that? I know that I do with my Swarovski crystals, I have thousands and I hate to use them, just like to see them sparkling in their bags.

I also have some lampwork beads from some lovely bead makers, and they are for stroking only (one day the right idea on what to do with them will happen) I even have one that sits on my desk all the time, just to look at and stroke sometimes

Apologies the bag charm clasps were £2.50 for 10 but they come with 2 chains on each. Item 250619619480 on ebay

I will catch up on posts later, work is busy today so i wont even be able to do some cheeky bead browsing online :(

that has really helped thank you so much Nic. Im kicking myself now though cause Ive already placed my Sancturary beads order! I was going to just add the chain anyway but then forgot. Doh! Thats something saved to my favourites for next time!

I think buying them ready made charm bracelet chains could be a good idea. Especially whilst Im just getting started and getting to grips with everything, I suppose its one less thing to worry about!

Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY I hope you find something lovely on your shopping trip.

I got all my jewellery bits out last night to make something and I did a bracelet on tigertail and I wasn't happy with it so took it apart, then did it on wire and took that apart and then just put everything away and thought I would look at it afresh another day!

Vikki thank you for the information on the clasps, I have just ordered some, sorry if I'm being dull but how do you actually make them, do I need to buy some extra wire?

No i just use eyepins and connect all of the beads i want up that way joining one to the other, sometimes adding in a jumpring if it needs to be a bit more dangly. I only really use the chains if i have a large charm on the end but again you can just use eyepins to attach each bead to the chain if you want.

I too get my stash out with the intension to make something & sometimes find I just have a good look at everything then end up putting them back away :rotfl:so your not mad & the only one, we all do it :rotfl:

VikkiJD - thanks for the links to the bag charms, have saved to favourites so when I run out of the clasps I've just bought I'll be getting some of them, much easier & quicker than putting your own together

I really wanna got home and make some bits, got some new beads for another memory wire bracelet.

I want to try some other things though, i have some Anchor charms which would look lovely on a long necklace but dont really know where to start!
