Oh dear. But still you never know if you dont try! Hopefully the one on Thursday will be better for you.

Have you looked into craft fares? These may be more appropriate? As people going to car boots tend to be looking for second hand items at a bargain price, whereas at a craft fare people will appreciate the skill and time that goes into handmade items and also how unique they often are and are willing to pay appropriate prices.

I did think that, everyone at carboot want everything for nowt! Sell them at a local craft fair or at a church fayre or school fayre. Perhaps try ebaying them?

Vikki your bag charm is gorgeous! I've just ordered the cute little dolls! Where do you get the bag charms bits from?
Also wondering if anyone can reccomend an ebay seller for swarovski beads, I use a local craft shop at the moment and pay £5.00 per kit (Bracelet)
    Thanks xx

    Hi All,
I have posted all my new pics on my blog so please follow if you have the time! I have a couple of makes to add and lots of interest in my memory wire bracelets everyone seems to want one!!

CraftGirl - I got the bag charms clasps from ebay i think they were about 10 for 99p and the other beads were just random ones i seem to have accumulated over time!

Really enjoying making the bag charms and bracelets and loving the interest in them.

Going to try making some necklaces at some point this week :o

So Ive finally placed a big order for supplies! Oh Im so excited! I cant wait for it all to come now. I also have lots saved in my favourites that I came across which Im hopefully going to order in the next few days (they are from same seller and some are auction some not). The only problem now is that my little mind is buzzing with ideas and I dont want to sleep hehe

VikkiJD : I checked out your blog, I love your bag charms they really are great. I bought one bag charms clip from Jillybeads as a tester but I think it was 60p if I remember rightly. It looks very similar to yours, which ebay seller did you buy them off? And would you say they are of good quality? I love bags charms personally and think they make great gifts so I really want to have a good at making lots of these!

I need to buy some chain, both for decoration on bag charms etc and also for use when making bracelets. The sizes are totally confusing me! Can anyone remember what sizes they purchased?

For necklaces and bracelets I use 3mmx4mm links. I bought 2 metres of it from sanctuary beads for £0.99. Ive made 3 long necklaces from it. Im not sure if you use the same size links for bag charms.

For charm bracelets I bought these http://www.myvintagecharms.com/findings/fpop9.htm the are 7.5" long and the links are 10mm x 8mm they were £1.00 each but i found them cheaper than buying loads of heavy chain and toggle clasps. Im also only making a few at the moment.

Im so excited, ive been skint for ages. Its my birthday today (34 feel old :o) I got some cash form oh parents and shopping vouchers from my mum and sisters. So today im off shopping for some new tops and maybe some jeans then off to buy some more supplies and beads.

Ive built a nice stash now with some lovely bronze and silver charms and some nice beads. Does anyone else just bring their stuff out just to look at it then put it all away?
The last couple of times ive brought it all out with the intentions of making something but I get craft block. So I just admire the charms a bit then put it all away. I guess I want to make the 'right' thing and not waste them, typical Scot lol.
