    Beanie, I looked at the M&S sale online at just after midnight yesterday morning, didn't see much apart from the hat, which I need for Venice so can't order online (there's only 4 posting days till I go so I can't risk it). So I'll have to brave the little old lady brigade tomorrow! I've also seen some pj's in New Look, and I've heard superdrug are selling stuff off from 10p so I'll have a look in there. Then my 'new year' sales spending's done!

    I am reluctant to spend much in the sales as I have a budget, targets yadda yadda yadda so I am staying away:D

    I got 3 handbags for pressies so I am sorted on that front and I would like some new clothes but its just that I would "like" them, dont need them although my shoes are looking a bit tatty but are so comfortable.

    Off to look for a new single bed for DS1 as he has outgrown his high sleeper and wants a "proper" bed now he is 16, he asked for it for Christmas first of all:o
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    I'm a muppet. I owed dad £100 (my contribution to the tv he's got me for xmas and my birthday). I have it in my piggy bank, so I transferred it out of my account and I'll change the cash for Euros for Venice. After the £100 went out of my account I looked at the balance and thought 'aaargh I can't afford Venice'. Then remembered that I have the cash. Just call me goldfish...

    Lou, I'm sure wine will help, and if not then Mr Daniels will always be there to lend a hand!

    My mission over the last few weeks to finish off the 6+ years old bottles of spirits is working. I've just finished the Strawberry Schnapps, and earlier I had the last shot or so of rum in my tea. Not sure what's next, I think it might be bacardi. There's only been about an inch of alcohol in the bottom of each one though so I'm not going too mad!
