Isn't that a bit boring and unimaginative? It's something you'd get off an aunt/uncle/grandparent, not a partner.Wouldn't it be easier to just give her the money in future?
They actually did in the end as i had the receipt. Got the money on a gift card insteadThey may not return it a second time unless its part of the conditions of sale that they offer.
I'd rather have not got the gift card but it was the only option in the end. She is happy enough with it as there's plenty she can buy. She's already mentioned a fair few things that'd come to more than the cards value.
