Deboned and rolled Turkey crown...freshly prepared from my local butchers..£25...perfect..:)
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Deboned and rolled Turkey crown from Devon Rose delivered to the door on the 23rd - best turkey ever, everybody enjoyed it.

I've frozen most of what is left for meals/sandwiches on other days.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • I got a kelly bronze organic turkey - soooo expensive but soooo worth it, the meat was amazing and full of flavour, defo the best turkey I have ever eaten. With oodles of leftovers - perfect.

I'll never buy from a supermarket again.
  • Always get out turkey from the local butchers, collect it on the morning of Christmas Eve. It's always lovely and this year was no exception. Still plenty left and will do a pie and a curry.
  • OH decided on a fresh rolled and stuffed turkey breast thing covered in bacon from Tesco £15. It was hard to break with the tradition of a whole turkey with skeleton but made so much more sense re fridge space and oven space. It was d-lish, a lovely complement to all the gorgeous veg, stuffings, pok and cranberry sausages (from farm shop) and yorkshires that hubby cooked for us. Remainder of turkey now covered in pastry and cooking as I type.
  • Bernard Matthews turkey crown - probably the best turkey i've tasted!
  • Aldi frozen pork, cranberry, sage and onion stuffed turkey crown - 12.99. Absolutely sensational, less than 2 hours to cook, moist and no waste (no one likes turkey leg in my family!). It's the second year I have had it - my family think it's a 40 quid one from M & S! Scrummy cold too!

    Waitrose Free Range Turkey.

Cooked with some butter under the skin and foiled half way through cooking to stop any burning on the edges, and it was absolutely YUMMY!

And we used the last of it for Turkey Balti tonight, and made stock from the bones.
These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!

I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!
