Can I ask the best way people are finding to jot down ideas? I am scribbling on bits of paper and bookmarking but the thread is getting so long I must admit to getting a wee bit lost now. Seen so many good ideas - do you jot down the basic idea and the web page in a book or just the idea and bookmark the page? Must dig out a notebook! I've put a tally of pressies made so far on the sidebar of my blog so can at least keep a check on that (not hard at the mo it's a big fat ZILCH!
)
I have two notebooks - a larger one with craft ideas, web page links etc and a small one for 'Bits needed' where I write down all the things I might need for crafting, this goes everywhere with me, to the shops, boot sales, antique browses etc. It's easy to think you'll remember all the bits you'll need for your projects but if you're anything like me your brain is never switched on at the right moment!

Hi everyone
I have just spent the last three hours reading through this thread now I am all caught up please can I join you? I have a list a couple of pages long of ideas now! Unfortunately I can't knit or crochet but I do like to try other crafts and enjoy cross stitching most.

Welcome Beth
My toddler will be 3 by Christmas too - I'm hoping to get good enough at sewing to make her the carry along house a few pages back for Christmas
And my elder two (who will be 10 & 13 by then! EEK!) Both want some homemade things too. Got to get my thinking cap on.

I'm not that clever I'm afraid.................
Any ideas I think I can do I either print off the piccy and instructions and put them in a folder or jot them in my 'pressy' book
I'm dreadful at forgetting to put links in my 'favourites' then losing track of them............:rolleyes:
Someone had an idea of using a notebook for all the different websites under various headings............good idea I thought and must get around to doing itI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
