Can I ask where you got the pattern from?

    Thanks x

Recipe for Baileys Chocolate truffles as follows:

125g Dark Cooking chocolate broken into pieces
    2 tbsp
    Baileys
    40g unsalted butter, diced
    55g icing sugar
Galaxy hot chocolate powder for dusting

The recipe also said to add 55g of ground almonds, but I left these out as I wasn't sure if anyone would have a nut allergy.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, don't let the base of the bowl touch the water.
Remove from the heat, stir in the baileys and leave to cool slightly.
Beat in butter, sugar (and almonds) until thoroughly combined.
Shape mixture into 18 small balls and place on sheet of baking paper.
Sift galaxy hot chocolate onto plate and roll each ball in cocoa to coat.
Place back on baking paper to set.

Hope this helps. I am going to make some for my SIL birthday next week and my friend's 30th birthday in Feb. Will probably make some more for other birthdays during the year and Christmas as well.

I'd love the pattern for the knitted bear as well please. I am currently knitting a cat for my friend but I have some white furry wool that I could do a teddy with.

Can I ask the best way people are finding to jot down ideas? I am scribbling on bits of paper and bookmarking but the thread is getting so long I must admit to getting a wee bit lost now. Seen so many good ideas - do you jot down the basic idea and the web page in a book or just the idea and bookmark the page? Must dig out a notebook! I've put a tally of pressies made so far on the sidebar of my blog so can at least keep a check on that (not hard at the mo it's a big fat ZILCH! :D)

whoopi, I don't know either!! I think I might spend some time later and make a list of ideas combined with webpages/instructions and then I will put them in a spreadsheet and if anyone wants it I shall upload it to my website so others can grab it from there.

Do you lot think that might be a good idea?

And then lose the pieces of paper.
Yeah- maybe it is't working and I'm killing a few trees but it's always a nice suprise when I find a pattern I'd forgoten about.

Can I ask, where did you get the recipe for bath fizzies?

I'm making soap for my SILs birthday following the recipe that Kirstie Allsop used in her Christmas program. I was thinking I could make a 'pamper' hamper but want to make something else as well as the soap. What I like about the soap recipe is that it only uses easy to get hold of ingredients :D

    All suggestions gratefully received!

Ooh this must have been on the program I missed. Do you have a copy of the recipe? I make my own body butter, would love to make my own soap too!

I write mine down in a notebook with a little diagram and reference to any web page/ blog etc.
