I looked at the sequence to make these, does it take as long as it looks to make them though? I am looking for things that don't take hours to make as I never have long for an individual project.

    Hi everyone :)
I am hoping to make a few stocking fillers for the grandchildren ready for Christmas 2010... I found this site (apologies if it's been mentioned before) and thought it looked good... especially the little teddies on the first page.... just right for hampers and stockings.

    Hope this helps someone :)https://www.craftdepot.co.uk

The sewing takes about 10 min if you do have a machine for the main body etc for sock monkeys

sethsgran - thanks for all those links..............saved a few in 'favourites'. Think I might have a go at a sock something -not sure what yet. Don't have a machine or nimble fingers so not sure what it'll look like................lol
All I've done so far today is make some cards to put in a book shaped notelet box I had thats now empty. Covered it and thought a few notelets and cards for MIL would make a nice pressie as she can't get out now to get these for herself.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Ahh I see, I don't knit ( I can I just don't enjoy doing it being a lefty I look and feel kackhanded) so could I use jumpers to recycle do you think?

You can, but for them to felt successfully the jumpers need to be 100% wool, and I also read somewhere that machine washable wool doesn't felt well. You need the old fashioned hand washable woollen yarn. Have to say though that I've never tried felting the machine washable so it might work better than I think.
