I would not accept this level of incompetence if I were you; they have messed you around no end and are now charging you way more than advertised. I would tell them that, because of the inconvenience and the calls you have had to make at the expense of your time and your phone bill you would appreciate a discount or total waiving of your P+P, it is worth a shot

JO4 I have been following the saga of the buckets with interest, you have to laugh or cry!

My daughter was in Hobbycraft on Friday and she saw the buckets, not gold, and the larger ones were half price.

Thank yous for responding. :T I will wait to see if the buckets arrive undamaged and if I have been charged the price Henry said. I will check to see if they are 3" or 4" gold buckets and then I will consider emailing the store if I have been overcharged. At the moment I will be relieved to see the buckets! :o :rotfl:

I don't know as this is the first time I have ever shopped with them. According to their website, "STANDARD delivery - Our standard delivery charge is £3.95 for orders up to a value of £29.99. We aim to dispatch all orders the next working day, and as we use Royal Mail, please allow three to five working days for delivery."

Seems like I have been charged £1 more for p&p than their website states. :(

I hope you get your Sky sorted!

I'm glad to see that people are managing to put pictures on using my instructions. Don't forget, if you don't need the pictures to be really big (because it stretches the thread and means more scrolling) please reduce your picture size when you upload them to Photobucket. You can also change the file size using 'edit' in Photobucket.

Look forward to seeing more people's christmas makes!

Did you put any graphic along with the message? Are you supposed to write the persons name on the bucket or the tag? If you are supposed to put the name on the bucket how do you get it on it?

    Me again! ;)

I know that the images put on here so far were meant to be big, but here is how to reduce the file size of all your photos as you are putting them onto Photobucket, if you don't need them to be big on here. If you don't reduce them, you will find the default setting size is Big.

On the main screen of your PB album you will get this dialog box:
    SDC15634.jpg

From this box, press (more options):
    SDC15635.jpg

and this box will pop up:
    SDC15636.jpg

Mine is set on Medium (which is the picture size you see here), this is a good size for forums. Select Medium (320x240) by clicking on it, and then save:

    SDC15637.jpg
Photobucket remembers that setting for every time you need to put pictures on there (and then on here) ;)

If its not done, this forum will end up being difficult to read because of enormous pictures stretching the pages. ;)
