Just to add to the Christmas cheer. I have just popped into a little old Irish lady who lives near by with her bottle of whiskey and 100 cigs.

I was saying how many folk my wife buys presents for.

" However, " says I " we got some good deals off the internet"

" Ah " she replies " I hear they are less busy than the shops "

A very happy & peaceful Christmas to one and all. May 2010 bring you exactly what you need, even if that's not all you may desire!

Since arriving at MSE, I've learned many things, and promptly forgotten most of them. Despite that, the advice received has helped greatly in a practical sense, while the moral support has been invaluable. A particularly heart-felt 'Thank you' to those who provided the latter: you know who you are.

Merry Christmas to you all, including the ones I 'disagreed' with.

I would also like to add that, yes its cheesy, to spare a moment of thought for the homeless, which must be hell at this time, as well as the British armed forces who are still in the line of fire.

Time for me to Log off. Have a good one.

Off to take the little one to see Santa then when the folks arrive it is time to donate money to the local Pub.

Don't forget it has been tough for pubs so do your bit this Christmas and New Year. :)

Also, in this time of family and friends, spare a thought for those less fortunate, who have no one to speak of. Although they spend the year performing a Herculean task, it is ultimately a thankless, and arguably pointless, role, a supreme sacrifice if you like. I know they don't do it for the thanks, but lets offer our own MSE version to our constant and silent companion... rewired.

    already done it old chap.............

Happy Christmas to everyone from me too.

Like Sue, I want to say a special thank you to everyone who's supported me through a tough last couple of months.

Here's a hope that 2010 will be an improvement on 2009 for all of us.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    Merry Christmas Everyone

If you got to go away,
don't think I could take the pain
    Won't you stay another day?
Don't leave me alone like this
Don't you say its the final kiss
    Won't you stay another day??

Don't you know we've come to far now
Just to go and throw it all away?
Thought I heard you say you love me
That your love was gonna be here to stay
Ive only just began to know you
All I can say, is won't you stay another day?

    Stay now.

    Peace out.
    Luv y'all.
