Extra problem re. Sky's replacement card

  • i always thought there was 3 changes of the card the one they have changed then the plane blue one before and one before that but i could be wrong

    You are possibly getting mixed up with the old analogue cards, they were changed on quite a regular basis, one of them was bright yellow.

    How do you stop the 'Go to sky.com...' messages from constantly displaying? When you dont need to replace the card for £20 because the channels wont affect you and they are still running fine anyway. Or will they continue to display these indefinitely? thanks

    Yes it will keep working, no messages. You'll lose Five, Fiver and Five US. Five can be replaced as mentioned above.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    I have no card in my box and I still get five but not Five USA and Fiver I've also lost my local ITV station and now get London I should be on Meridian. I think the card has stopped working now as even with it in I can't get Fiver and Five USA.

    well i seemed to lost most of the sky channels took card out and now no tyne tees, five sky 3, ch4+1
    been messing about doing settings this morning, shall i just buy a new card?
    tried the freeview card i got just over 3 years ago and they want another £20
    not sure what to do whether to go back to sky we have no ariel in room we watch tv in and freesat seems a waste, any ideas
    thanks
    just taken card out and can get itv not my area and watch five via other channels
    any techs with ideas would be good

    If you want Sky 3 and a few more channels, just buy a new card.

    If you want sky3 fiver and five USA you will have to buy a new card. I haven’t because as I still have an aerial I can get my local ITV if I want to and don’t miss the above channels. I must admit at first I was going to get a new card and callrd sky but they take so long to answer I couldn’t be bothered to hold on.
