I wouldn't take too much notice of what you read on the Lush forum, as a few people on there really don't like us MSE-ers - I'm not sure why, but there have been comments about people here being money-grabbing and only interested in Lush when the sale's on. I know that you will always get a few people who push and shove and who get stuff to put on Ebay, but I think most people here are like me and love Lush stuff and see this as a great opportunity to stock up for the year ahead and get some free stuff - and just don't have time to work towards becoming a member of the Lush forum clique. I hate to say it but I wouldn't put it past one or two over at the Lush forum to post misleading information! So best to phone your local store tomorrow to find out what they're doing and when they're open - and then post it here so the shops don't get too many MSE phone calls! ;)

I would avoid the Lush forum, I used to go on there when I worked there and it's full of spiteful, hateful bullies. I am happy to admit I was going through one hell of a tough time and was a bit of a lunatic then, but I seriously didn't deserve the treatment I received on that forum. It's a nasty, nasty place, wouldn't go near it with a 40ft bargepole. I also totally disagree with the MD of Lush, Mark Constantine, letting them bully and even joining in with it on occasion. A shocking way to treat your customers. It's far too cliquey over there, or it was a couple of years ago, can safely say I haven't been near it for years and won't be visiting it again. I am also quite happy to say that after the forum experience I boycotted Lush for a very long time and know I wasn't the only one and even now I don't spend anything like I used to in Lush. Lush is now a treat rather than a neccessity I couldn't live without.

I also absolutely agree with you about them posting misleading information, they would and they probably have. I think it is true about only the manager's knowing what's happening, one of my friend's works for Lush and doesn't know what's going on.

I feel a bit of a wally now. Below is extract from my lil sis marketing course .I kid you not, about Lush,

This store is an ace of marketing. They get folks into a frenzy for two gold boxes per store, whilst clearing out all their old stock.

I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A
