Yer Merry Hill was busy. Some places opened at 7...next was close and there were so so many people. I was chatting to the security woman and even she couldnt believe it..I walked through when on the way back to the car...there were people with around 8 bags sat in a queue which was so long it must of taken a hour or so?? to get served! Madness...although saying that if i had children i would go as they have some gorgeous things!

Got to Southampton about 10.15 - for a 10.30 opening. Was about 20th in the queue.
You had to chose your £20 before going for freebie and by the time i got in all the hatboxes/larger gifts were gone. They biggest gift sets they had were worth £15 so i decided to ge for the lucky dip.
Was a bit dissapointed really - two bath bombs, 2 mini ballistic, hunk of soap, bottle of shower scrub and a sugar scrub.
Did much better last year and i went a day later.
Saying that i spent my christmas money on £20 of Lush stuff i really wanted so still happy sitting here smelling it.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
Does anyone know how long the online sale is on for?
No mention on the website, not sure also what the "£10 worth of product free" is, is this of your own choosing do you think?
Cheers for the info so far folks!0 -
In stores the sale runs until they are out of stock. My local has lots of bags left, but nobody was really bothered with them. There was no queue like last year either.
I left it and bought some sale items at the Body Shop and M&S instead. Not really worth it this year. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
if i remember right, most of us last year found that they were having deliveries of more old stock and boxes throughout the week so even if you went in a few days later you could get lucky.
last year I got winter wonderland, im hoping to get something of similar size if I can venture out tomorrow!
This online promo seems pretty much the same as the grab bags format doesnt it..?!0 -
Hi to anyone who went to Covent Garden. I got a Christmas Eve and Winter Wonderland. Due to the new rules this year (products on offer must be made before October) there wasn't the selection there was last year. So none of the all year round gifts were on offer. Very disappointing as I wanted a Think Pink instead of Winter Wonderland.
I will most definitely be back next year!
edit: Covent Garden were as organised as usual. No shoving like in other locations.0
