LUSH sale update

I'm beginning to think that there won't be grab bags, the stock levels just don't seem to be the same. I think I'm going to save my money. Got a few soap and glory bits for xmas and still have a bit of soap left from my b'day in sept. Do they have offers at other times of the year? I seem to remember an offer around valentines day?0

was at the Next sale yesterday morning at 6.30 too and there was a couple who spent about £800 and had bags and bags of stuff....EVERYONE in the store was huffing and puffing and saying how greedy they were but i just thought no-one knows their story...they could've saved up all year just to go to the sale and people were jealous as they wished it was THEM!
I would've been a bit mad if the people infront of me had taken all the big boxes but i would've settled for something smaller, for example buying an all year round box for £20+ and then getting a smaller xmas box for free
When I was in Lush yesterday, someone spent 200 pounds. They had about 4 xmas eve & the rest were winter wonderlands. I didnt care about the amount of big hatboxes as I got the actual smaller ones that I wanted. I just couldnt get over someone spending 200 pounds on consumables that arent food & disappear. Fair enough if its clothes you can get lots of use but bath products. I love Lush and all but wow0 -

Last year I spend about £150 which I had saved up, because I got all my skin care, hair care, body lotions and bath stuff for the year. This year I spent £60 because I already have some other brands to use for skincare. If you compare LUSH face moisturisers, cleaners and toners to companies like Lancome and Clarins they aren't that expensive0 -
Has anyone been to the Worcester store?
My Mum has a gift voucher to spend so I might take it tomorrow as know what she is after if she wants me to see what is available in the offers.

honey...could it be the whole box plus popcorn is too much together ?? perhaps if u split it up the scent would be watered down if that makes sense...the boxes can be potent....i got a few grab bags last year and the smell pervaded the whole house and garage....even the wheelie bin smelt for weeks after i chucked some packaging away.....has anyone been to coventry or stratford stores ??onwards and upwards0

Lush Croydon still had loads of gift boxes left (over 100) at £29.95 and below. I was there about 2pm, the staff were fantastic, very friendly and took time to tell everyone the offer and also personally help you find the ones best for you (I wanted mainly ballistics and they were happy to point out the best ones for me and even carried themto the till). They had tons of grab bags too - most had 2 small xmas gift boxes in plus 2 or 3 ballistics with there being around 5 different kinds of gift boxes being used in the bags (upto £7.95 in price) - there was also a few that had just ballistics/bars/soap - about 10 products in each. I bought the Christmas Star gift box at £19.95 and the assistant confirmed that they would let me of the 5p and I could pick any gift free. I picked the ballistic tin (containg 9 balls) worth £24.95 and my lovely sister bought me another xmas star gift set for my birthday and got me the £29.95 Merry Christmas gift set free - I am one happy bunny!!!0

Well given that it will last a while and that there was an offer on that's why it will all have been spent at once!
I spend way more than that at Lush a year,me and my son only use Lush products (except from my liz earle cleanser and Label.M shampoo everything else is Lush including ds shampoo etc) and with us both either having a bath or showerin every day, soap, shower gels, shower jelly, buttercreams, buffy, moisturisers, bubble bars, melts and ballistics all add up :-) I'd hate to say how much we spend in there a year:eek: So it makes sense to spend a large amount in one go if you're going to get big freebiesIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
i guess the lush forum calling everyone here grabbers is the same as someone here calling the lush forum !!!!!es really isnt it :rotfl:
there are horrible people at these sales and i guess its easy to call them mse'rs it doesnt necessarily mean that you think they are all users of the site iykwim0 -

I was at Coventry yesterday for about 10 (it opened at 9.30) and I managed to get 2 gifts for about £25..there were more expensive ones available, but I was after mainly bath items...that said it was incredibly busy, and I was in the queue for probably 30 mins, and it's only a small store..I would be surprised if there was much left in terms of larger items..I must say the staff there were lovely in terms of explaining to people the offer to people, especially the one girl who everyone went up to, saying "Does this count as a christmas gift"
Thanks - I didn't know there was a store at Stratford - how does it compare size wise to Coventry?? (It could be worth knowing for next year).June wins: 2 x Robbie Williams tickets, iPad mini, £200 skatehut voucher
A huge thank you to all posters xx0 -
Hi,,
I got to Lush at 6.30am boxing day,i waited 3.5 hours, was first in doors, i got 2 lush legend boxes for my 2 DDs, which was the idea anyway! Then i got myself 1 Christmas eve box and 1 Winter wonderland box. With the 80 i spent i bought birthday gifts for the year for my female friends and family, sorted! I met some lovely people in the queue. It annoyed me that one lady walked past me in the shop and glared at me holding my boxes saying " It makes me pigsick that some people get here at 6.30" I thought to myself where were you to then missy? and put it down to jealousy. There was 1 think pink and i knew the lady number 9 in the queue wanted , so i did not pick it up even though i could of and im happy to say she got her think pink :-) There was loads of winter wonderland boxes and christmas eve boxes,, the staff were lovely as always :-) My house smells divine, i smell divine and so do my 2 DDs.. we love lush,,and yes i do buy it all year round as well :-)0
