It sounds like most had a good day and I certainly have. All my girls including Lucy are happy and when I get that ring on her finger tomorrow - hopefully the places that sell rings will be open, then I expect it will feel more real? Plus then I get added bonuses . A bit nervous after what she's been through, but she says she trusts me and i'll just have to be supportive for want of a better word Patient, maybe another word.

Anyone else have any Boxing Day plans?

If she is practically living with you and has spent all of Christmas with you, then I would say the added bonuses are well needed MOTM !!

Tomorrow, I am off to my mummies and Chris and my dad are cooking for us all and my sister, BIL and nephews, so one big massive family day for me !! Should be good fun, Jas wants to bring all the new games she got with her !!

Well, she has basically said that when we are a proper couple tomorrow, once ring is bought, she wants to move in permanently and for us to be a family. We were going to review it once New Year was out of the way, but it seems like it's been brought forward. I like the idea, it just seems quick, but not as quick as some I'm nervous of the bonuses as she's been through alot and I don't want things going wrong, even though it's her initiating things. That possibly makes her sound easy, which she is far from having not been with anyone since her awful relationship, but she wants me to commit and with that comes 100%.

Sounds good for you, a big family day, Maybe Jasmine can take some? All may be a bit much :rotfl: Nice to hear she's excited! We have our family day on Sunday when my remaining relatives and friend pop around (The rule is just me and the girls for Xmas, Boxing Day, New Years Eve/Day) Lucy hasn't met some of them, so a little nervous.

It is quick, but me and Chris were only going out 9 weeks when we started living together, and I was pregnant after 15 months !! Quick relationships can be the best ones sometimes, we are together now 9 1/2 years, and I wouldnt be without him

Oh BTW, he just wants to bring the board games she got for everyone to play, nt everything Santa got her !! So its only 3 things

Evening all!

I've had a fab day.. been thoroughly spoilt by everyone! Rhys has a phenomonal (sp?) amount of presents.. have taken a pic of them all so we can remember.

From OH, I have my ring, two charms for my bracelet (a teddy bear and a bow, this one, in recognition of me breastfeeding - made me cry!), chocolates, body scrubs (I always ask for these!), hand warmers, G&S boxset, and two CDs (that I'd mentioned weeks ago but forgotten to write on the list so he was paying attention after all!).

I saw mention of Willow Tree earlier.. my Mum bought us this one as I said I'd like to start collecting them now that I have a nice display unit for them

Now settling down with a cuppa and some of the vast amount of chocolate I've got!
