I would like to thank you all so much for being there for me and although I don't "see" you I count you all as my friends who are there whenever I may need you ( I haven't had a drink yet either so this couldve turned out alot more soppier :D)

Tara, I'm sorry your little ones are so poorly, its really not fair. And this is why we all got so angry on that thread a few weeks ago about the swine flu vac. People actually said we should allow our kids to go through what your little ones are going through rather than have a jab! I'd not wish that on anyone and you are being incredably brave and strong dealing with it. I really hope they get well soon and you never see them this bad ever again.

Beanie, both DH and I are very proud of little Amber :D Dh is well chuffed since he chose the name (I've to remind you of that, he chose it, not me, he is very insistent on that). Your ex is a total twank and bit of rat spunk on a toads butt hole. You, your son and your lovely baby are better off without him and in a few days you will feel strong again. You have just had a baby, you are allowed to feel sorry for yourself for a little while, but not too long cos we just wont be having with that ;)

And the rest of you girls (and honourary Girls, MITM and Bruno), I love you all and your all great, even when we are having discussions about stuff that we don't all agree on (I'm on a sugar come down, I'm feeling slushy), your so great :D

    Merry Christmas guys!!!! :A
  • Would I be awful if I said I am not hopeful :o

We will see, I hope my wonderful hubby surprises me with a wondwerful gift.

Hubby has just been to check on DSS and he is asleep :T

Last year when he was at his mums she put him to bed and about an hour later he was standing at the top of the stairs in floods of tears because he couldn't get to sleep and Santa doesn't stop for children who aren't asleep :(

This year we have avoided all negative connotations of Santa (he's not coming if you do or don't do x) and DSS went to bed with James and the Giant Peach which he has really been enjoying. His dad told him to read for 10 minutes or so and then turn the lights out and go to sleep.

I went up after about 30 mins and DSS switched his light off as I was on my way up the stairs! I went in and he said 'hello' sheepishly! So I asked if he was enjoying the book and he told me where he was up to. I suggested he finish the section he was reading and then switch his light off and go to sleep after that.

Hubby just went up and he is asleep - RESULT!!

    Let the carrot munching commence!

So's Rhys.. I'm not fussed about him being awake, I'd rather he was cos he's been faffing with his bottles all day and only had four instead of his usual five so I'd rather he stay awake playing for a while and build up an appetite to make sure he gets the last bottle into him.. :o

Must remember to take a pic of the tree "after Santa's been" ;)
  • Oh Dylan could be awake and I wouldnt care, however the santa pressies arein my bedroom, which is beside Jasmines bedroom, so I really really really need her to be asleep !!
