  • What a grate idea Em! :T Will give it a try as Benjamin has been a fussy b00ger since he got his tooth!

Right, I was supposed to pick hubby up at 9pm, but when I spoke to him at 6.30pm he said he didn't want me out driving in the snow and he would get a taxi back in a couple of hours...what time do I start worrying? He is about 20 mins away in normal driving conditions.

Nathaniel's cot bed is so low I ended up using green seed trays from B&Q

It has a liberal dose of port in it... but is has been boiled within an inch of its life so I doubt there is anything left in it!

Oh, sorry Ed has been poorly again, but yay for getting better :D
ooh lovely, I like it when it has the flavour but not the alcohol coz I'm a super lightweight

Oh dear, tamiflu is really bitter. I'm squirting it in the back of her mouth else she spits it out. Tried masking it with fruit but it didn't work.

hehehe... grate... kicking myself for not thinking of that one, i'm slipping ;)

last batch i made for him was passata, and i grated a tiny bit of onion, some carrot, courgette and nuked in a spoon or two of water, mixed it together and stirred in some baby pasta and a blob of frozen spinach, and simmered til the pasta was soft. simples! he wolfed it down, it looked and smelled vile but he seemed to like it  then turned down my homemade spag bog the next day, babies are weird!

can you not try his mobile MFD?

Can you ring him just to check that he has left and not just lost track of time?

    Not cruel - I think they're cool

Is there a generic Parents Thread login or would you need to invite me? I know there is one because I remember someone mentioning the baby weights recently but I think I was on holiday when it was set up, so don't know anything about it.

    hi everyone,

i have no idea what everyone is up to, who's not well, who needs hugs etc, as i have been MIA again for the last few days.

just a bit hard this time of year, i am soooo looking forward to it being LO's first christmas and just the three of us spending it together, but i am missing my family terribly which makes me feel rather pants, so i do my usual, and distance myself from things.

anyway.... i'm still not ready, have a few things still to get and have to wait in for a delivery tomorrow, which i am praying will be early.

like i said the other night, still having food issues here. dare not put down what LO will eat for fear of being shot down, but hopefully this is just a faze that will pass

sleep too isn't brilliant, but i am just trying to ride that out and see where we end up.

choppy would love to see the AK meal planner if you put it on google docs (but then someone might have to explain to me how i find it :D)

    xxx
  • I have text him to ask what time I can start worrying about him!!

I hate being one of those wives who can't just leave their hubby to it when he is on a night out!

Although I dropped him off at 1.30pm so it is anybodys guess as to whether he can read a text or not :rotfl:
