  • Millie's Mum, your fairies are fab, the breast storage bags arrived today. Thank you so much x

Awww, my little boy isn't well - at least, I don't think he is  He has been awake almost constantly since 2am  and screams every time I try and put him down. We even had his first proper tears tonight

There seems to be lots of poorly little ones at the moment so dodgy hugs all round :grouphug:

 So much to do and too little time. I have no hope of catching up on the 11 pages posted since last night.

Cranberry sauce currently bubbling on the stove. I make it every year and then decide not to do it next year because it doesn't get eaten...but it is such a Christmassy thing to make and it really puts me in the mood so I decided to do it anyway.

Custard is cooling to go on top of the jelly I made last night for my famous trifle!

    Apple Sauce next.

Then still have some gifts to wrap. The 'Santa' Paper to hide. A ton of tidying and ironing to do and at some point hubby will be rolling in from his night out with his lads  purely work you understand ;) got to show the workforce you appreciate them :D

Benjamin was a star this afternoon going around the stupidly packed Asda. Took us over 2 hours but I think I got most things. I will walk up to the Lidl tomorrow to pick up the inevitable things I have missed.

We finally have snow!! But only a covering and it has stopped again.

Will read a couple of random pages in leiu of a proper catch up, sorry :o

I would much rather spend the night on here with you guys :A

Edit - LOL quoted SB's post then didn't respond! SB my family usually ask but didn't this year. Hubbys family don't buy for me, just the kiddies (as it should be!)

    Wonder if anyone can help?

When Kezia was born she was given what looks like a sleep suit but its fleecy. Its a Tesco Baby Pink one with Molly the mouse on it. It seems really warm and lovely but I'm a bit worried about her sleeping in it as my room only goes down to about 18 degrees at night now I've changed the heating settings.

Does anyone have one and do you think it would be too warm to sleep in it?

    Thanks

Still no news from CPN and HV hasn't been in touch and I don't really feel comfortable asking her to come and weigh LO. LO hasn't been weighed for 7 weeks, and according to my scales he hasn't gained anything. Thats about 1oz in 2 months. When do I worry

I wouldn't, as long as he is eating and drinking the same amounts as usual, he will be absolutely fine. Also, scales at home aren't always completely accurate, whereas the HV ones get tested, so he might have put on a bit more than you think.

There isn't - I've already checked :D. I have the book in the dining room as I made up some food for Caitlin today, so I'll pop and get it in a minute and start typing.

Thank you. I really hope Maddie improves for Friday. Sorry, I'm obviously being a bit blonde tonight getting confused between DD and the baby. Reading a few more posts made me realise that I was being thick and everyone else got what you meant :o
