You do realise he's just getting you to do it so he can take it in, learn and then do it to you in the not-too-distant future, don't you?!? :rotfl:

    :D

OH touches the end of Rhys' nose and makes a funny noise. Then Rhys grabs the end of my nose and looks baffled because I don't make the noise.. When I do it, he laughs, but then I stop doing it again and he frowns and looks puzzled again... Cruel mummy?:p :rotfl:

Choppy - meant to say the other day, DH had laser surgery about 6 years ago. He paid £800 for both eyes, and he actually bought it through E-Bay. I think that sounds dodgy, but it was Optimax so all above board, but they offered it through E-bay and it was cheaper! It's the best thing he has ever done. He had Epi-Lasek I think but that's probably out of date now.

Thanks Fitzio. I'll have a look at it. I'm not actually booked in yet as they hadn't released the appointments for March so there is still time to look around.

Also, while I was just writing some more of Caitlin's thank you cards, DH borrowed the laptop to look at footy results. He saw Holly's name in your signature and thinks it's very pretty.

Thank you! And thanks for asking :D I'm feeling surprisingly good, the HV came the other day to offer additional support because i had said i was worried about the first few days after baby was born and adjusting, being on my own and having DS - but i told her i'm fine and don't need anything
Having baby here does remind me how it could have been, with the ex but i'm trying to keep remembering how miserable he'd be making me if he were here.
I've text him a few times but he just replies with the same old carp, blaming me for our split and he still doesn't know baby's name. In fact he wouldn't even know she was alive and well if i hadn't opened my big mouth when i got the attack of the baby blues on Xmas night :o

I think that's one of the reasons i haven't been posting much lately, cos i am liable to bore everyone with my self pitying rants about ex. I miss him so much, but he's a diff person now, to who i miss.

p.s Super cute thumb sucking :Dhttp://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=10227827&l=7ea3bfa4ae&id=541645098

That is a totally gorgeous picture.

Post on here as often as you want, it doesn't matter if you're moaning or feeling sorry for yourself. Just about everyone on here moans about things at some time or another so if you can't beat us, you may as well join us :D

You are doing amazingly well - I know I couldn't do it and I really do admire you.

    Hi Scruffy,

Although MFD came on earlier, she's still poorly so isn't on much at the moment.

On a brighter note can I brag?? My son can do "clap hands" :D

YAY Daniel!! We are very jealous!! I have been trying to teach Benjamin to clap for ages (well at least 3 days!!) but he won't turn his hands in  He does flap one at the other wildly :o

Hmm.. maybe it was the parsnip in the roast that Rhys didn't like! He made comedy gagging actions that that - I'm not supposed to laugh, am I? :o  We'll get there.. :D

LOL - Benjamin gags at anything with parsnip in it...but wolfs them down if they are roasted!

New comedy food trick is to put anything he doesn't like behind his ear and down his back  We think it is because his dad does a disappearing dummy trick where he drops it behind his back. Tonight all manner of carrots, roast potatoes, broccoli and shredded chicken were going over his shoulder. I was sat looking away from him shaking with laughter but he knew what I was up to - the second I turned around he did his loudest Catherine Tate 'Nan' laugh and threw some cabbage in the air :rotfl::rotfl:

What she said - you need to rant somewhere so it might as well be amongst friends who don't know you IYSWIM.

Evening ladies!! It is now 24 hours since I expelled any food and I am celebrating with a glass of Peroni :p
