Elastigirl, that was me on the PG thread offering premmie clothes - I just wanted the chance to let the fairies donate them through MSE before taking them to our NICU. I'm now beginning to create quite a pile, so I think it's time for a sort-out of "souvenirs" and then donate the rest.
Hi'y'all :hello: :j :j :j My parents finally visited today (snow level was low enough) and they've given me a NetBook for my pressie! Oh, and I think Andrew got some presents too LOL

Am loving all the new avvys. I haven't even put any Xmas photos on FB yetGISI, I've managed a grand total of no situps so far ... but I'll get there
I'm hoping that doing situps will not only tone my jelly belly but reduce the amount of time I have to pick at food in the evenings.
Beenie - Amber is beautiful. How are you finding everything?
Carla - love your piccies too. I second SM when she said you are very
pretty.
Bruno - I don't have a toddler but has your OH looked into going to a music
session with Elijah? I think every library in the country runs a Rhyme Time
session each week. You just turn up when you want - there's no cost and no
commitment to go every week. Do you have a local SureStart Centre? Or, for
things at home, how about playdoh, finger painting or some simple baking?
Elle - Your birthday trip sounds lovely. I meant to ask you the other
day...has Rhys got any teeth yet? I saw that you'd made up some food for him
containing pasta and chicken. Caitlin is still mainly on purees but when I
give her a lump of cooked carrot as finger food she manages to get small
chunks off using her gums (which are pretty hard, as my poor fingers
testify!) so I was thinking maybe she could manage some lumpy stuff now.
MFD - you poor thing. Hope you start to recover soon.
MOTM - hope the move went OK today. I'm reading the posts in order so I
don't know if someone has already replied later in the thread, but I placed
a BodyShop order last night and only received a confirmation email at
lunchtime today. ETA: CSH replied on page 120
SS - wow, what an eventful trip. Glad you're home safe and sound now though.
GISI - hope you and your family aren't too poorly0 -

A stone?!?! You don't look like you need to lose any weight, let alone a stone!0 -
SM - DD started training herself around this time last year and was dry by April, she is 99% dry at night with the odd hiccup - I do put her on the potty before I go to bed.
DH just had a horrible moment with her, she was bouncing on our bed whilst he changed the quilt cover - she back flipped off the bed landing on her back - no harm done just a fright. The trampoline will be brought downstairs once the tree is down as she loves to bounce.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Chopsticks, I've been trying to do the flying thing with Molly to tone my arms as well as get giggles out of her, but she's so wiggly that I'm petrified of dropping her, and lifting her above one's head in her current dribbly state is just asking for an airborne attack of the saliva monster. Walking is great exercise though.
Right, ten more situps and then I'm done for the day and will pack my bag for work tomorrow and go off to bed
Goodnight everyone. Maybe I'll have time to check in tomorrow during the day
Edit: MDW how scary - I hope she's ok!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

SS - yeh, I'm being wary of the dribbles. Haven't had any so far but I'm sure it's only a matter of time!
I hope work goes OK for you tomorrow. I don't think I've mentioned yet, but I've got a KIT day on Wednesday and another one next Wednesday. I'm doing them to help out as the person covering most of my role is on holiday and several of my team have left whilst I've been off too so manpower is a bit thin on the ground.
I don't really mind going in, although in an ideal world I'd never go back to work, but I know I'm going to miss Caitlin like crazy, plus it just seems yet another step closer to my mat leave ending0 -
All fine, DH is just trying to get her to sleep at the moment.
Just booked tickets to take her to see the Gruffalo at the Lowry in April. I'm also trying to decide when would be a good time to take her to Cadbury's in Birmingham.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Oh gosh I'm so dead when Dh comes home.... The highchair I wanted on ebay (the only place I could find it, its discontinued) was down to last one from 4 an hour ago.... So I just robbed peter to pay paul so I could buy it... I can not spend another penny all month. I need to pay back peter
But...
WOOHOO!!! Got the highchair I wanted! :rotfl:0 -
