I have this one in my car Aless, currently rear facing then I can change it to forward later. I can't carry her in the one with handle anyway.

    Hi all

Just saying hi before I catch up.

Before I forget, Morrisons have got the large packs (18 in a pack) of Farley's/Heinz rusks for 99p, which I think is half price. The smaller pack (9 in a pack) was £1.29.

Elasti- I've got the Ventura car seat and find it fine. What issues are you having with it?

Jillie- Lovely new pic! Seems nobody liked my 'Kieren and the 7 dwarfs' avvy enough to notice it :rotfl:

Don't complain about a laughy baby!!! You'd find it even harder if he was crying:D
  • SM- cashback is from new phone contract, switching gas and electric, ctf and then just general shopping. It soon adds up but will be so useful to buy bits for Henry as SMP only really covers our living costs.

SS- I saw your challenge but I need to get some weight off before I worry about situps! Good luck though, 'tis very ambitious.

I've signed up for the Great South Run so that should motivate me to get out there running. I might join the DFW running club but it looks a bit scary. Any mummy runners on here?

I like all the new avvys!

Well hubby is having to use the car seat as i can't carry it yet because of my wound, So maybe he is just being a man about it. But he says it is very heavy and finds getting the seatbelt in all the bits it is meant to be, a bit hard going. So we end up taking harry out of the carseat and leaving it in the car as he says it's such a pain getting it all back in again  I only have a 3 door car and he thinks i will struggle to use it on a day to day basis

SM- Kieren is the same, never cries! Next door has a wee boy 3 weeks younger than him and he screams his face off day and night! His crying wakes me up during the night sometimes, and K is sleeping soundly in his crib next to me lol

I think all the seats are a bit heavy tho? Maybe go to Mothercare or somewhere and give them all a lift but I don't think theres much weight difference between them all since they're primary function is a car seat and not to be carried they don't make them lightweight, and unless you are a going to get the Isofix base thingy, hes going to have to faff with seatbelts anyway. Sounds like he is being a man:rotfl:
I only very occassionly take the car seat out, I usually take the pram in the boot or the baby carrier, or stick him in the baby trolley if shopping x
