I am currently not talking to my OH for being a selfish pig, fed up! Did you see my question about highchair, was wondering if you had ever seen one as I cannot find one locally?
never seen it, I've only seen HCs in mothercare though the one we have at MILs is very similar but has padding, it's mamas n papas but don't think they still do them
Oh yeah, I got a letter through about my NI stamp, blah blah you have to work 30years to get a pension yadda yadda. Anyway, there is a thing called the Home responsibility thing so if you recieve child benefit for a child under 16 (soon to be changing to 12) they pay your NI, so it shows up on the letter

    06-07 -
    07-08 - £395
    08-09 -

So I only owe for 07-08 but HELLO I HAD KEIRA THEN!! So I apparently need to go to the jobcentre and pick up some stupid form and fill it in? Why could they not just sort it out? Its not hard if they the other 2 years correct!
home responsibilities only covers you for 2yr AFAIK

Ooooh, maybe. Probably not though, will be too tired :rotfl:

Lucy is great, moving in officially Sunday so a small party, just for the pair of us and the girls mind. She's been here non stop since erm...16th? and it feels right, so...

When is your holiday? I know it's really early in New Year, but missed the date. Something tells me it's Saturday 2nd?

Sounds good...enough for some Sandwiches tomorrow too? ;)

We're having Pork tonight and then younger girls will go to bed at around 9 or 10 and the older 3 can, if they wish, stay up with Lucy and myself. No alcohol in our house, so J2O's all round

    Enjoy your poison

I can't remember exactly, but Izzy was smiling a us by about 6 weeks i think. What do you do at the moment? it is never too early to start giving baby a running commentary on what you are doing (this is handy as a way of getting baby used to being put down too - if you are talking the whole time he knows you are still there!) anf there is tickling and singing :) If you're rusty on your nursery rhymes then go get yourselves both registered with the library - they will probably have some cds you can [strike]copy[/strike] borrow.

well really just talk try and talk to him, play with his hands, etc. Just didn't know if there was more to do! Of course he;s still so young ;). Good idea about library books, though - my nursery rhymes are seriously rusty!!

We've just ordered pizza as a treat and have a bottle of posh champers in the fridge...DH bought it for when the baby is born but we thought combining that with new year's eve was perfect timing to drink it.

Currently eating sausage rolls and other nibbles .. having Roast Beef later on!

And getting rather merrily tipsy - I've expressed enough stocks to keep Andrew going, so from here on I'm pumping-and-discarding. I've already had a healthy measure of SoCo, and am now on Lime Vodka. It's been 10 months and 4 days since I last had a drink!
