Oh we had a grotty pair in the coffee shop this morning. Apparently, baby led weaning is holding a tub of yogurt for a 6month old and letting them paint the highchair with it and table, and anything else within reach then leaving someone else to clean it up. as well as leaving the poopy nappy lying on the changing mat... open.

Help me decide, green or black and gold marble or multi colour tie-dye nails? :D

a kick up the bum to go mop the floor while Amber is sleeping in her crib would be good too?

black and gold marble and take a photo please

think sami- i'm just gonna try all the groups i can as it will be good for him and it gets me out and away from here as i think i have an mse addiction :o

Well done Mr Mel - is he going to get a really big sidecar! :rotfl:

Bless Rhys standing at the sofa! Its hard to tell from photos but he must look really tiny to be standing.

    Clever Kian sitting up.

I'm off to escort my fairies round to the post office now, collect DD from school and no doubt get a call to go and collect DS too. :(

Choppy *hopes this doesn't sound condesending* why don't you strap her in the pram/buggy for naps?
Nope, not at all. Any advice is gratefully received. I'll have to investigate whether I can use the straps with her laying down in the pram. Or, just have it in buggy mode and lay her down as flat as it will go.

Although, after all my ranting last night it may not be needed. Without wanting to be :j:j:j just yet, she has gone down OK today. I left her until I knew she was really really tired this morning and put her down just before 10. She played for a bit, then cried for a couple of minutes. I went in and spent a minute (a long time, I know) with her shushing her, but it didn't seem to make any difference. I then went out the room again and she cried for a couple more minutes then went to sleep. It was a whingy cry with only one tiny tear, not full blown, upset crying with tears like I had yesterday and over the weekend.

THEN (this is the best bit), I put her down this afternoon following exactly the same routine as this morning. She was playing for about a minute, then it all went quiet and she was asleep . Not a single peep out of her!! She's been asleep 33 minutes (I'm timing :o) so far which is more than she usually sleeps for.

She's due a bottle around 3 so I'm sure she'll be awake for that :D

Tescos dahling ;) Daddy dressed him (for bed, last night... shhh :o) and it's 0-3mths, but he's been in 3-6mths for a week so he has room to breathe!

Yay, he's doing really well both in standing up and in growing...he's catching up with Caitlin! Caitlin is still in 3-6 month clothes. She went into 6-9 month sleepsuits either last week or the week before to give her more leg room, but the body is too big and the arms are too long so we have to roll back the sleeves.

Aless - have you phoned the HV? What did she say?

MOTM - I've been following your other thread about your 12yo. I didn't comment as I've no experience of secondary school, apart from me going obviously <insert rolling eyes smiley> but I think that what you're doing the right thing. If your daughter doesn't want the police involved, etc and you both feel that the school has (eventually!) done what you want and your daughter is happy, then what's the point in making her upset by involving the police, etc.

    Glam - :j for rolling

    Jillie - :j for sitting

Sami - I know Caitlin's a few weeks younger that Edgar but she got her first tooth two weeks ago today.

Tia - what dirtbags! I think black and gold marble. Sounds funky!

Haven't seen Mookie on here for a while. Hope she is OK.

Oh, I ordered a Sophie last night too. I got mine from a seller called "green child of mine" from Amazon. I'd forgotten that I had a partially-used gift voucher, so it only cost me £4.27.

    Caitlin's awake. 39 minutes :D
