Which reminds me - did you ask about taking the bus ride home with J to see if he would do it with you there?

I meant to ask that too. :o

Ah - J would probably be the exception to the rule - what with the bus fiasco it wouldn't be worth arguing over a hairdresser.

Which reminds me - did you ask about taking the bus ride home with J to see if he would do it with you there?

I've just had a brilliant idea - I wonder if Katie Price is free to do the escorting on J's bus home? :rotfl:

I asked the escort about doing it as a one off to see what goes on/if it helps - she mentioned it to the dumbass at transport!

    Then I had this bizarre conversation with Dumbass at transport;
DA 'I believe you're available to be a bus escort on J's bus'.

ME 'I could arrange to get the other two looked after and do it as a one off if we think it will help. But, J's teacher doesn't think it will help, as J will be quite happy getting on bus if i'm there.

DA 'Oh, right then. What if we arrange a taxi and you escort on that'

ME 'Not in the long term as I have to be back in B for 3.20 to collect DD from school, and I would also have to have a baby with me'.

DA 'Oh, right then. So are you able to collect him from school in your own car'.

ME ' No because I have to back in B for 3.20 to collect DD from school'.

DA 'Oh right. That wouldn't work then'. Well, we do have a bus that goes to Beb (next village) - do you think he'd go on that one?'

ME 'I don't think so. If he doesn't like his bus that he knows, with staff that he knows and children that he knows, he's not likely to like a strange one.'

DA 'Right, I see what you're saying. Ok, i'll have a think about it and get back to you'.

I feel we have handled it well. Some people want blood, but I, and most importantly12yo, want to move on.

Wait until your kids get to 12 ;) I hope they are as good as my lot. I feel privelidged knowing how some kids can be.
I just read your thread and it sounds like you are going for the best option. It doesn't sound like pursuing it further would benefit your daughter and it sounds like a one off incident on the teacher's part.
Would people really change hairdresser because the baby doesn't like them?
I wouldn't go to a hiardresser - I would just cut their hair myself if I had a boy.

:oI obviously didn't read that before posting,:rotfl:Nah 4 isn't plenty, I would say 4 is a few kids!! Not sure what I would consider as plenty:think:

Maybe enough that a minibus is required...in fact i did say the other night I was looking at minibuses;):)
I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that four is just a few.

8 months and 1 day, with the second arriving at 9 months and 18 days...we continue to wait for tooth no 3 *rolleyes*

If he plays up for either of them then he will be made to go back to that one until he learns to behave. In MFD's victorian world kids don't get a choice over these I am afraid.

Chris has had 3 hairdesser places, he's had a couple of trims at 'mine' (too expensive though) then 2 different local ones - same hairdresser though, we followed her :o to be fair she was a mum and understood how to distract a toddler in order to do a good job
now my mum's mobile girl does it, she starts him 1st then if he gets bored she puts mum's colour on then finishes his while it develops :D he's a good boy getting it cut anyway, not like the screaming fits I've witnessed from others:eek:

Bad mummy....i got impatient so kinda woke him up just after i posted this :o we went. Kian was the youngest, actually only baby rest were all toddlers. not many there but loads of toys and a few songs at the end. K's fave ( heads. shoulders etc)

And when we there sitting on floor, i let go of kian (he was sitting) and he didnt fall to the sides or backwards!! He sat on his own!!!! :j:j:j

not sure cos of the age of the rest of the children its the right group for us but i do have another 2 or 3 to try out. although for handiness its ideal!!!

MOTM- glad you have managed to sort things and DD is back at school. What you do from here is totally upto you.

my asda doesnt sell the annabel karmel range so we must not live in a posh/rich area..... :rotfl:
yey for sitting :T:TEd was past 6mths so he's doing well :D I think it does them good to be around bigger ones though, helps them learn to get moving/comunicate/share
