What is it with little girls and bags? Alice always tries to grab all the handbags in Tesco.
I've no idea. It's bags and shoes with Charlotte. She doesn't get it from me, as I hardly have any shoes and use the same bag each day. When I was a child I used to get given things with Sue on because they never did Susan. I used to hate it because it's not my name. These days I would have thought you could get any name on eBay.
My Mam is a Susan, but she always shortened it to Sue as she knew my Gran (her Mam) hated names being shortened.
Think Gran must have had the loopy pregnancy hormones mind, as she really hated names being shortened, so she named her children Susan and Brian. Then she spent their childhoods getting cross when people called round and asked if Sue or Bri were in.Buttonmoons wrote: »Im black affronted.
Class! I've read that in The Broons but never actually heard anyone say it. You've made my day
Hope you get the problems sorted out *hugs* If not, set fire to himHere I go again on my own....0 -
I'm here but I'm trying to decide whether to chance going to Festival Park in Stoke for our swimming lesson tomorrow as there are opposing demos going on.
Plus with the lack of fluids today my head feels like it is about to fall off my shoulders - too much of an MSE'r to spend 20p per cup of hot chocolate out of the brew machine. I normally do take a drink in but my cup's broken and I need to get a new one.

Becles, my mum is Jennifer and everyone calls her Jenny and she hates it with a passion !!
She learned after calling my sister Pauline (which she uses) and got paula, paulie and another one I cant remember, so Donna cant really be shortened to much !! But it is the hardest name to get on things when I was younger as Dawn was more popular !The two best things I have done with my life
