Okay so just phoned the DWP asking if I am eligible for the CWP apparently not! !!!!!! I get IS and CA and I have a child who gets the disability premium CTC.

On IS computer screen it says I get IS and CA but doesn't say anything about who I get CA for it could be anyone. Was told to phone DLA get them to send over the info to IS. Tried phoning DLA service unavailble atm.

    PHONE AND CHECK!!

  • looking at the 7 day forcast for crosby it looks like we will never get a payment!! might be fine if you actually live in crosby but here is the welsh hills its a lot colder. so we get no help. totally unfair as usual everyone knows we are having a real bad cold snap everyones heaters r on max to keep warm, so it should be isssued to all.

I dont live in crosby....where i live is definetly colder than Crosby.Like many others i just come under that weather station.Few years ago i came under a different one. They should of left my area there :-/

We received CWP last year, our situation:

    Hubby Income based Income Support
Child with disability and receives disability severe premium within tax credits.
    Also a Disabled child premium.

Even though I am a carer for my son and receive CA, my hubby claims JSA for himself, wheras tax credits provide for my son and not my hubbys income based JSA.
I receive the CA premium in with hubby's income based JSA, can't remember the amount something like £25 or £27 on top of his jsa.
Even though my son on High rate and mobilty with DLA this is not actually included for CWP, just the top above list for us to have qualified.;)
