A Government Minister has just appeared on the BBC News Channels saying the money will be paid in time for people receiving their fuel bills!!

And you should not worry about keep your heating on day and night if necessary. Apperantly she reckons 25 quid will cover a weeks fuel needs.

What the :mad: !

No Mention or Acknowledgment that some People need the Money LIKE NOW, to credit their gas meters, in order to obtain heat!

Not me thankfully.

I come under the crosby weather station and i am beginning to question it!!!! No payments for us in west lancs which i find kind of odd as its been freezeing.
God knows how where going to pay are bills when they come in. :-(

I am on JSA Income Based, have a child 6yr old on disability living allowance at the higher rate with my wife receiving carers allowance with the carers premium added. We have been told we do not qualify for Cold Weather Payment because we receive cares premium, is this correct?
